Well, it's that time of year for No Guts, No Glory Tony Nomination Predictions. Not people or shows who are #6 or #7 on the list, but the real underdogs who would shock people if they ended up being nominated.
Here are mine:
Will Roland, Dear Evan Hansen
Beanie Feldstein, Hello Dolly!
Amber Gray, Natasha and Pierre
None of them have received any nominations yet for their roles, but I think they might get their name called tomorrow.

I mean, Will's fine, but his role is nothing award worthy.

Would Amber Gray be a surprise? She seems like the safest choice of the Great Comet featured female performers. I don't know Tony politics, but she seems respected for past work, has a standout solo that was just released as a video, and has gotten good reviews.
I'm a big fan of Brittain Ashford, whose Great Comet solo was my favorite performance at a show I saw last month (perhaps because I was surprised at how much I liked it). But people seem more divided about her, and Gray probably gives the stronger overall performance. And while I agree with all the Grace McLean admiration, her role doesn't include a solo.
Mike Faist, Dear Evan Hansen
Brandon J. Dirden, Jitney
Jennifer Ehle, Oslo
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Best Musical
If for no other reason, but because it would be really, really, really funny.
Taylor Trensch for Dolly.
Not exactly a dark horse per se, but he hasn't yet been nominated anywhere else.
Nathan Lane, The Front Page (Featured Actor)
Barrett Doss, Groundhog Day

Seconded. I'd be surprised if he was nominated, but I genuinely enjoyed his performance and would be pleased to see him recognized for doing so much with such a mediocre show.

He's been nominated for an Outer Critics Circle and a Drama Desk, I'd say he's pretty much a guaranteed nominee.
^ how the heck did I miss that, whoops. Yep. I guess I'm blind and stupid today :| .

I'm SERIOUSLY out on a limb with this one, I know, but that's the whole point of this thread, right? :)
But man, that mime sequence is no joke.

Barrett Doss! I think people haven't really been mentioning her all along because there was an assumption that she'd be in Leading Actress, but now that she's in Featured... I think it's a long shot, but she's my no-guts-no-glory prediction.
Also Rodney Hicks.
I'm thirding Barrett Doss, and I would love to see Jennifer Laura Thompson-- imo, she's the strongest behind Ben Platt and tied with Rachel Bay Jones. Such a shame Featured Actress in a Musical is so crowded this year.
