I'm not surprised the concept alone makes me wince. But if I can get cheap (and by cheap I mean free) I might check it out in order to have a good story.
Whilst walking through Globe theatre:
American woman to guide: "Excuse me, is this building pre-war?"
Guide: "Madam, this building is pre-America."

I desperately want to see this. It's invaluable for anyone who takes theatre seriously to see bad shows as well as good ones, and I'd be fascinated to see if this can beat my current Unholy Trinity of terrible shows (although possibly Absurd Person Singular and Kismet were just terrifically poorly done as opposed to being bad at the core, unlike Gone with the Wind which only proved the old maxim "you can't polish a turd"). I don't have the funds to cough up for a PBP membership or anything at the moment, so if anyone knows an alternative way to get the cheapest possible ticket, I'd love to hear from you. My current best plan is turning up at the box office with a tenner and doing puppy-dog eyes, but even that sounds like FAR too much to pay. XD

in my ever tight schedule and with no electricity indoors, i have the oppurtunity to see a matinee, what do you reckon Too Close to the Sun? Walk past the Comedy Theatre, past TKTS to the Garrick Theatre?
