Would having access to better seats as an LCT member be nice? Absolutely.
But from a business standpoint, members are $50/year subscribers not major donors who need to be cultivated. We get cheap tickets commensurate with the investment we've made.

Well, yes and no…
I’m not actually sure how this works in a situation like this:
Jeffrey Richards is producing in partnership with Lincoln Center. So I’m not sure if it’s actually a non-profit production, or whether it’s a commercial production where LCT is providing resources in exchange for a cut (in which case, their cut would be funneled into their non-profit operations). If that’s the case, then theoretically Jeffrey Richards would still be using a model that aimed for recoupment.
Alternately, maybe it’s a non-profit production, where Jeffrey Richards collects a fee for calling the shots, and fulfilling producing responsibilities.
I actually don’t know! LCT has done co-productions like this in the past, but I don’t know how it worked then either. Maybe Hogan, or another industry-savvy user can chime in?

To Kill a Mockingbird was a similar structure.

This was my first member purchase, and, while I would have liked to get a closer aisle seat, I was more than fine with orchestra L 1, and having the benefit of returns and exchanges is great.
When they've done these partnerships in the past, have they offered LincTix or Student Rush?

It could be slightly shorter but suggesting it's less than an hour (as if they would cut 30 minutes off a 75 minute play is ridiculous).
To Kill a Mockingbird had LincTix.
From the way it ran, I’m guessing Mockingbird was ultimately a commercial production, produced in partnership with LCT. Ultimately Scott Rudin called the shots, and as we learned recently, he decided not to re-open it because it was going to lose a lot of money. Sounds more like it was a commercial model. Although, granted, LCT operates differently from some other non-profits, in that the lengths of their Broadway runs are more dependent on demand/ticket sales. But still, it seems like it fell more on the commercial side.
If that’s the case, I’m guessing Ohio State Murders is also a commercial production.

LincTix. I was able to get them for Mockingbird the same way you would any LCT show.
A fan presale is also going on now, and Audra posted the code on Instagram. OSMFP901 on Telecharge Offers.

The run time is not 75 minutes, sweetie, as I just proved with my other post. When I saw it, it was less than an hour. The reviews I posted click it at an hour and five minutes. So give your “false information” garbage a rest.
You stated this show is less than an hour, then couldn't even prove it in any way. So, the only person giving garbage information is you. And I can have a discussion without name calling because I'm not a child.
Also, this production coming to New York this Fall is about 75 minutes, as stated by the Times article talking about this exact production.
Have a great weekend, ya'll!
So the published script is 38 pages.
How does that translate to 75 min? What happens?

We'll find out when it opens.

Hun, I just gave you multiple examples about how long this show is and when I saw it, the thing was less than an hour long. For all I know, these reviews calling it 65 minutes long started 10 minutes late. This is definitely not 75 minutes long unless Kennedy had added additional material to it and at her extremely advanced age, I would be surprised if they asked her to do so.

Seems like we can agree that it is fairly short and how short will be determined once rehearsals are underway.
Wow, I love it! So the whole signage is now the LED screen?

I think the red rectangle toward the top of the picture is covering the new neon sign, which will be unveilled during the ceremony,
Oh I meant for the shows. There doesn't seem to be any picture frames on the actual marquee.
Beautiful work done on the facade and the entrance overhang. Classy and elegant. Much deserved Mr. Jones!

Renderings Revealed For Cort Theater Expansion At 138 West 48th Street, Times Square

Was the original marquee underneath the big boxy one? Or do you thing it was dismantled all together?
I believe this is a wholly new marquee (not something hiding under the boxy thing), designed to look more in line with the architecture of the period. I do wish they also had the "picture frame" marquees on top of the overhang here and at the Lyceum, facing east and west. But this is an elegant improvement over the old FOH!
Saw a photo on facebook a few days ago, and under the red curtain it says JONES. (no James Earl)
Hope we'll get some pics of the interior soon, too.
