I know it's controversial, but I still love it.

Also, it might surprise people that "Sirens" from Jane Eyre is one of my overall favourite musical theatre songs.
Blackout---In The Heights.
My Child Will Forgive Me- Parade
Feelings You've Got to Hide - Side Show
"In" Carrie (it's cheesy and 80s, but it's still good)
I agree with a lot of these!
-Blackout is one of the best parts of In the Heights, musically.
- Side Show is filled with all the crazy belting showstopping numbers, that i LOVE, but "Feelings You've Got To Hide" is beautiful. I love the whole score (mostly) and that number is kind of a quiet standout.
- And I kind of love "In". The lyrics are um, terrible, but i just love the melody and its just so fun. Has no place in "Carrie The Musical" but on its own its fun.
I LOVE the title song from Sunset Boulevard, even though some of the lyrics are a bit of a mess.

I agree with Blackout from In the Height. People seem to focus on the open and 96000, but I think Blackout works better.
"Meadowlark"
I usually dislike Schwartz, but I love this number! Especially when it's sung by Patti LuPone, Liz Callaway, or Susan Eagan!

Why is "Can't Help Lovin' That Man" controversial? Are people that sensitive now?
That said, one of my favorite showtunes is "The Beauty Is" from The Light in the Piazza.
one of my favorites is definitely "The Factory Girls/Come Up to My Office".
"I Feel Pretty"...Sorry Stephen! It's just really catchy!
Definitely agree with "The Factory Girls/Come Up To My Office."
I also love "Streets of Dublin," from A Man of No Importance.
Baritone!
Completely agreed. "The Beauty Is" IS my favorite showtune. Its just stunning.
"Every Day a Little Death" is my all-time favorite showtune. Hands down.
And for some reason I really love "Champagne" from ITH which is weird because it almost isn't even a song, but I LOVE it!
And I really like "Waiting for this Moment" from Tarzan. I still don't know why, but it's really catchy.
I think "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Short, sweet, to the point, and gorgeous melody.
This one's a bit odd, but I kinda really like "Slipping Through My Fingers" from Mamma Mia! I know it's really a pop song, but I think it it's a pretty song and it works well in the show.
I also really like "If I Told You" from The Wedding Singer. It appears my guilty pleasure is all those sappy ballads from pop musicals. Then again, give me a love song from one of the classics and I get misty too.

"Into The Fire" - Scarlet Pimpernel

On a related note, "Ready to Settle" from High Fidelity is one of the funniest songs ever written; set in a coffee house atmosphere, the depressed singer (Marie) talks about her new relationship -
You're just like me
Alone and sad
And in this light
You don't look so bad.
I've had the best
Now I need a rest
Just someone who'll do
And I'm ready to settle for you.
This is a wonderful list of overlooked treasures.
I'm going to add Grandma's Song from Billy Elliot. Every time I hear it I love it more and more. (Now I only get to the second line before I start crying.)
