I was just listening to an interview with the songwriting team on the podcast The Business with Kim Masters, where they claimed not speaking Spanish was actually an advantage in the songwriting. 

Other than Saldaña and Gomez, anytime someone on the Emilia Pérez team talks about the film, it's at least slightly irritating.
