I was at the show Thursday night and he did the balance thing but he didn't jump down the normal way he does. He dismounted the trick very carefully. I was wondering of something had happened. Speedy recovery Orion.

Saw the show tonight, first night with Orion out. Some scenes were very different, especially the top of Act II.
Some "spoilers," I figured i should warn anyone who hasn't seen the show and wants to be surprised I guess...

Instead of the Rolla Bolla trick, they had Yannick and the swing filling in for Orion blindfolded, while one climbed on top of the other. I think one of the actors took a picture of the rehearsal on Instagram...?

Also, the understudy used a different accent than Orion, so it was funny to hear MJT mimic the new accent.

Oh and during the finale Yannick juggles the flaming pins instead of two people juggling them.

There were some other minor changes, but those were all I could remember.

I listened to Richard Ridge's interview with Andrea Martin. In it, she mentioned that Orion is one of only four persons in the world who can do that segment with the cylinders and the board. Wow.

They have a replacement for Costet now, so I would imagine a replacement will be brought in for Griffiths. Costet's replacement was/is from Cirque de Soleil, so I wonder if they will pull someone in from their talent pool to fill his role for a few weeks.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

His complete name is Orion Venture Maximillian Fitz Griffiths.

In my perfect world, he would star in a show opposite Anna Maria Francesca Enriquez Perez de Taglé. They would both use their full names above the title.

Wow! I really missed him last night! He is so amazing and brings another world of joy to the stage. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this show and production, and everyone in it. I would hate to miss having any one of them out. Now I have a really good reason to see it again!

I don't claim to be his friend...far, far from that. It would be presumptuous to say that. He does have a Facebook Fan Page. Any fan of his who would like to send him a fan message can do so. I don't send him ten messages a day or anything like that. That would be gross. Since there has been quite a bit of talk of personnel changes in "Pippin", I was just curious to see how he was doing. He could have not responded, but he did. Nate, thanks for the comment. You get it. Once Orion is well again and returns to "Pippin", there will be a lot of theatre goers who will be happy about it.

talked with some of the producers last week. Orion is scheduled to come back at the end of August, if all goes well. I hope he does. Yannick is now out and the new guy is good but needs to practice his torch juggling, he dropped then twice while walking across the stage tonight. Kindda funny.

I can't imagine sending a facebook note to an actress I like telling her about how my message board has a special nickname for her breasts. It certainly doesn't portray the members of this board in a particularly mature manner. And don't assume he's cool with it despite what he said. He may be too nice to tell you what he really thinks.

Jordan, it seems like N2N Nate knows a lot about circus tricks. I could have sworn there was another adolescent on here who knew A LOT about the world of circus and mysteriously vanished when it was time for summer camp.

But.... nahhh.... It couldn't be..... could it?
