PLAYBILL.COM'S CUE & A: Laura Benanti
Nice Cue & A, I'd love to see her Fosca.
I'd love to see her Fosca too!
Nice
I have always liked her and hope to get to see GYPSY.
That was cute! Even if she did have to shovel poo. lol
I'm so sad she didn't take the opportunity to tell us all to get lives again. I've been waiting for her to call me to reality.
I love the tidbit about the 6 year old feeding her lines in The Sound of Music. Thanks for sharing!
This is my favorite part:
Pop Culture Guilty Pleasure: Trashy magazines. They are terrible but I convince myself that it all evens out because I also read the New York Times. Much like I convince myself that it's okay to eat French fries because I also eat carrots.

Favorite pre-/post-show meal: Pre-show: carrots. Post-show: French fries
Completely adorable!
I'm so excited that one of her dream roles is Fionna in Brigadoon. She would be brilliant!

I loved this Q and A. She's hilarious.
One of her dream roles is Fiona in Brigadoon, which is being revived next year. Hmmmm.....
Once again, Benanti proves herself to be a sweet, real human being. After reading so much negative about her, I remember being shocked at how sweet she was in the promot interviews for the WEDDING SINGER on the movie DVD.
