“No, not a part of the show, but (respectfully) if all you are seeing is $699, are you sure you're on the official Hudson Theatre website? There are quite a few scalpers that "look" official, but aren't."
Just checked. No, that $699 a ticket is indeed on the show’s official website. Not a scalper ticket.

So, if you're hellbent on getting a prime seat in the center of orchestra row D, of course you should be prepared to pay up. Especially for the play with one of the most famous and popular actresses in the world. Those of us for whom fees like these are unattainable, are very happy to sit in the front balcony for $119 or $89 in the back which still has extremely good view. It's all about a choice and you keep pretending you don't have one.
Yo, Einstein. The screenshot was to show that the $699 was coming directly from the Hudson Theatre and not a scalper website. They were questioning the validity of that $699 price. No one here was looking to buy those. Geez. No one reads these posts.
Ha. Moronic.

I'm aware these are the prices from the official Hudson website. Weren't you the one whining earlier about $699 prices many replies ago? I'm here to tell you (and so are other people) there's plenty of choice to buy a much cheaper ticket for this play if you don't consider a prime seat your only option. Or not to buy at all. Have a blessed one.
This screenshot post is my first posting on this thread.
And for the record, I adhere to ticket prices. Unethical or not. I don’t bitch and whine over things beyond my control. It’s my choice if I want to spend that amount of money or not. In the over 40 years I’ve been going to Broadway, I purchased tickets at my own discretion and at whatever price point I chose. I didn’t scream and rant on a message board.
The poors are so touchy these days.

No you just choose to be a jerk
In Anna Delvey’s voice - “Oh my God you people are so basic talking about money that’s not even a lot. VIP is the only way to see this show so just do it.”
I think the biggest SJP/MB fans would buy tickets at any price point ($139-$999) just to be inside the Hudson Theater to see them live.
