"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

It's like 10 days. It'll be fine.

just the typical regional theater stunt casting. She does seemed a bit too young for the role but I really don't think audiences out there will care.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

^Yup. (She's 52, so I'm not sure if her age plays a factor - I think she just personifies "too cute".)

Let's face it, very few of us were ever going to see this anyway. The people OF Utah, will probably love her. Good for them.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I think it's a wonderful opportunity for her to shine. She has extensive musical theatre experience....so why not? Her detractors remind me of Regina George. Snobbery is not pretty.

She is super adorable and I’d love to see what she does with the role. I’d much rather see her who has musical talent than some Z list TV star or some campy hag.

The fact that the article highlights her run as a furniture spokesperson certainly speaks to that. Good for them in Utah, get out to the theatre.

I love Paige. Got to hang with her and her entourage during her time in Pittsburgh, and we’ve stayed in touch a little since then.

That said, Bettyboy, are there really that many “campy hags” left on this earth? They seem to be an endangered, if not extinct, species; and the existing specimens tend to be critical darlings more than kitsch punchlines (maybe Jennifer Coolidge is both, but she’s more in on the joke than anyone).
