Paperless Playbill

I know it may sound a bit crazy but does anybody think there may be an end to the paper Playbill? It is not like a program at a sporting event where you get charged for it and the team makes money. Playbill is free and wonder if they can develop an online edition for ticket buyers. This way people are not touching something that has had many people handling it. Just curious what everybody thinks about it.

Personally, I like the way they do it on the West End. The programs are very nice and I don't mind paying 4 pounds for them, I think that was the cost last time I went to a show there. I think doing it that way may be a good idea in the future.

The Playbills are handled no more or less than anything else a patron comes into contact with at the theatre (not to mention everything they come into contact with on their way to and from the theatre). Getting rid of them would be a drop in the bucket in terms of lessening any possible exposure to anything.
