It wasn't even that EACH of them was individually the best there possibly could have been. But there was just something about them.. something that's been lost with the replacement casts. Each member of the original cast really made their character their own. They were individuals, with individual personalities, and when they played off each other it was amazing. With the new cast, they're all very talented, but it's like they're just these generic young actors, and each of them could play any of the roles equally well. It's like they TRY to be the original cast members, but fall short.
Sorry, that was a long unnecessary ramble haha :)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

But this is funny, because it's supposed to be "perfect casts" and nypj doesn't list (doesn't remember?) the fourth lead, the sort of underwhelming Josie de Guzman.
I'm seconding RENT. Not that I don't think that there have been better people in some of the roles, but I've still never seen a cast that worked as well with each other in regards to really telling the story.

Sort of underwhelming??? The men's room attendant was more appropriate for that role than de Guzman was. And he had a "Mother" tattoo and chomped on a cigar.
She got fired from Nick & Nora because of her underwhelming performance. (Which actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise becase N&N was a mess).
