I feel bad laughing, and you do have to give it up to the actors for not crying and running off stage.

I totally agree. I won't even lie, I was cracking up when I first saw this. The actors certainly handled it well.

Why does this get posted every day?

ETA...though I do always chuckle when the man in the audience states the obvious: "that's not good." Updated On: 1/11/10 at 06:09 PM

It has.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

why was there a baby crying through out the entire performance? Why didn't the parents take the child out? That could not have helped the situation at all lol

The part that got me in the Peter Pan clip was hearing the actor scream, "OH MY GOD!" as he goes flying across the room. I had to rewind that part like 10 times. Peter Pan disaster youtube clip

The dance peter does at the end cracks me up! Reminds me of Ashlee Simpson!

Also, there's a link titled "What Happened After" if you look on the side bar of the previously posted video. It's almost equally tragic. Updated On: 1/15/10 at 03:46 PM

I hate to admit it but i laughed at both parts. Does that make me a bad person?

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

Heck, this beats a community theater production I saw where the homemade harness SNAPPED OFF the little girl who was playing Jane...luckily before she was airborne.

At least they were airborne at all. I was John in a community theatre production where they literally made us run around with our arms thrown out. It was humiliating.

Interestingly enough, they aren't the only Peter Pan production to make the exact same mistake...this one isn't quite as amusing though..

Oh God, get over yourself. Even the people who work for MTI break those agreements and tape shows for themselves.

These vids are a good example of why you must hire professionals when doing something as dangerous as flying an actor. Someone could easily get killed or seriously injured. -Debbie Downer
