Has anyone recently gotten standing room tickets for Phantom? If so, what time did you arrive? Were there many others trying to get SRO tickets? For reference, I'm hoping to go the weekend of Dec 9-11 (the performances are already sold out). Thanks for any info!

Keep checking. I've noticed that a few tickets tend to become available at the last minute.

My friend that went in the end of October got there 2 hours before the show and she said they had just sold the last box seat when she got there so they gave her SRO. Not sure if box seats are sold online or only in person, but that could also be a possibility for you if you don't mind partial view?
I did standing room and I got there around 2 pm! The last of that sells around 5 pm since October, but I expect it to go faster as the run gets later. I'm also interested in rush reports if anybody has them, by the way

At least for tickets on telecharge, it looks like that performance is already sold out so standing room should happen that day. The box office opens at 10 AM, so I would try around then.
Updating to say I got a ticket for last Thursday's matinee a little after 10 am after coming from The Music Man rush. I had initially asked for a SRO ticket but then asked for a box seat instead and they had one! Spent an extra $20 than I expected since the box is $49 but it was my first time seeing Phantom and the box was great. I was the only one at the box office and as I was leaving two girls came and got SRO so it seems fairly easy and Thursday is a two show day.

Oh that's awesome and that you got the seat for that price! I got a box seat for the day before the anniversary performance and it was the last one and I spent $99. Although that's still good in my eyes with the cost of what tickets are nowadays!

I believe the boxes are sold only at the box office, so Telecharge can show a performance as sold-out when box seats are still available.
