Please nominate __________, Tony nominating committee!#1

What performance(s) or production(s) or aspect of production(s) from this past season that you think will be overlooked by Tony voters should get nomination(s)?

I think I'd have to go with Carey Mulligan in THE SEAGULL...what a breathtaking performance and I really hope it's at least recognized with a nomination.

Tony voters don't choose the nominees.

The Nominating Committee does.

I say the score of The Story of My Life. Technically, I think it should be eligible, since it's going to released on iTunes in a few weeks, and is an aspect of the show that can be enjoyed even after its premature closing. Not to mention, it's a beautiful score!

I'll second Carey Mulligan and add Diane Weist for ALL MY SONS.

Two of the most incredible female performances I saw this season.

All it needs is a changed name. I know this going to happen anyway but Next to Normal for score. Brilliant, poetic and one of the most original I have heard in years.

[title of show] for Best Score - One of the most striking, original and ultimately beautiful scores I've heard in years.

Daniel Breaker and Christopher Sieber for Best Featured Actor - A wonderfully funny reinvention of a beloved character and a howlingly hilarious, mug-filled star turn (replete with Judy Garland impression)...respectively.

Mitchell Jarvis- Best Featured Actor- Rock of Ages

While I am reasonably sure Chris Sieber has this in the Bag I would love for Jarvis to just be nominated.

I don't think Will Swenson will be overlooked. He may not win, but I think he'll be nominated.

On the other hand, I think all the ladies of Hair are going to be snubbed. That's too bad. I thought Caissie Levy and Kacie Sheik gave great performances.

A Tale of Two Cities for: Lighting, costumes, sets, musical score...and anything else!

James Barbour SHOULD be nominated for leading actor in a musical. Since he has been deemed eligible, I hope the Tonys will not overlook him.

And how about Nick Wyman for supporting actor in a musical...? I have not read anyone mentioning him that much, but he was fantastic, as well! And I still think Natalie Toro should have been given a nod also.

Definitely Jayne Atkinson for BLITHE SPIRIT, a fascinating comedic performance. Not only does she have fantastic chemistry with Everett and Lansbury, but it is her performance that always commands attention over Ebersole. As a friend told me, she is giving a master class in performing Noel Coward and her brilliance should be recognize by the Committee.

I wouldn't complain if Rupert Everett got a nod, too. Though I doubt that will happen. He is pretty divine in BLITHE.

I'd also add Kate Jennings Grant to my wish list, she completely rises above the mess that this revival of GUYS & DOLLS is and completely steals the show from every single one of the principals. You really feel it when she's not on stage.
And please nominating committee, do not nominate Lauren Graham.

Allison Case is the one I'd most like to see grab a nom that I don't think will.

MATT RISCH and STOCKARD CHANNING for Pal Joey!!! Both were enchanting. I have a pretty good feeling Martha will get one and may even win.
