"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

B'wy Understudies posted only both shows today. (Doesn't mean that AC ^ is wrong of course.)

Damn it, I wish I could see her. Megan is 1st rate, and so is Sarah, who was in my opinion better than Kristin as Fran.

Kristin's Twitter says that she'll be out for two days.

I saw Megan as Marge. I LOVE Katie Finneran and was really disappointed she was out but Megan was great. Still like Katie better but still worth seeing.
My friend saw Megan Sikora as Marge a few weeks ago and said she was amazing and hilarious!! She is such a talented performer I hope more good things come her way!! And what a nice person too! Always smiling and happy!
I went and saw the show tonight just to see Megan. I scored an amazing student ticket 45 minutes before the show. I wasn't a huge fan of her, but she was an adequate understudy. She's more believable age-wise than Kristin, but her voice wasn't nearly as strong. I could sense some serious nerves in the few first songs, but she relaxed and got better as the show progressed. A lot of her line readings were similar to Kristin's, and it was weird not hearing them in Kristin's high voice. Her chemistry with Sean wasn't very strong, but they played off of each other pretty well. There were a lot of disappointed people around me when they realized Cheno was out, but I thought that Megan was suitable- not great, but totally fine.
Who was replacing Megan in the number Turkey Lurkey Time?

When Kristin Chenoweth was out sick in May, I recall substantial applause when Fran (Sarah Jane Everman) made her entrance. I have a feeling that they didn't check the board in the lobby and weren't aware it wasn't Kristin.
Just curious....were there many empty seats? Wondering about how many folks are there specifically to see Kristin?

I have seen Kristin and the two understudies. Sarah Jane is the most appropriate in terms of type. I thought Megan did a very professional job last night and I really liked her singing. I prefer either actress to KC in this role and her absence was my deciding factor in attending last night.
Sarah was perfection! Glad you got to see all of them BS!

I was at the show today, with Megan in as Fran and Kristen Beth Williams in as Marge. I had seen Megan in Curtains and was hoping for a good show from her, however I was a bit disappointed. She did a great job, but unfortunately does not have the same strength in voice and presence as Ms. Chenoweth. On the other hand, Kristen Beth Williams was fantastic as Marge, although I missed Katie Finneran (who was apparently out getting married today, according to one of the bodyguards at stagedoor), and was quite a "hoot". Sean Hayes was terrific as always, but at times it seemed like he really felt he had to carry the show with his leading and featured co-stars out.
