"Jason-I heard that clip a while back. And there IS such a thing as radio editing. What I heard of her live, was definitley not impressive."
I was really impressed and I'm not saying that cause I'm a Mel B fan. Yes she did crack on some parts but it wasnt really noticiable and I still think she did an amazing job. If you dont believe me then thats your problem, not mine.
#13re: re: re: !
Posted: 4/21/04 at 6:08pmUh, it's not a matter of whether I believe you are not. I'm not basing my opinion off what you're saying-I actually HEARD her first performance. And I don't think she fits in.

Once again, there is no "problem" with differing opinions. It is YOU who is making one.

Oh well, that is your opinion then, which I have nothing against of. I heard a clip of her singing "Another Day" and "Out Tonight" from her first night and I should say that she didn't sound THAT different from the radio clip we are talking about.
Mind you I downloaded "Out Tonight" by Daphne, which was featured on a "Rent" CD from a musical and must say that Melanie sounded A LOT brighter. I am sure they've done some studio editing on Daphne's version as well since you decided to mention it.

sorry what I actually meant was that I'm not saying that I was impressed just because I'm a Mel B fan, if you believe or not, its up to you.

Maybe so. But what has Daphne to do with anything? And OF COURSE it's radio edited-it's a cast recording. All shows have that now.
And thank you, MelB, for repeating everythig I said again for me.

I have to say, I think MelB sounds fine.
For the most part, I think the Mimi's sound relatively the same all around.
I don't really see what the controversey is... she's not the first person to be a part of stunt casting (if you want to call it that) with this show.

Posted: 4/21/04 at 6:32pmThen again, Daphne was in the show 8 years ago. Many things about the show, including the voice style of some of the characters, have changed.

MelB4Ever, you've worn out your welcome, if there was one in the first place. Your attitude is WAY old.

I really dont care if I'm welcomed or not, I will post whenever I feel like it whether you like or not. And all i did was post my opinions, is it really hard for you to accept them?

I don't know what to say to that. This ENTIRE "battle" it's been YOU who refuses to accept anyone else's opinions. Once again, your ironical and hypocritical posts are only embarrassing you more.
