StateofJade is true in saying not to trust the radio. this isnt limited to MelB. all the previews/commericals on radio/tv etc. are edited. you CANT base it on what you hear. you can judge if you like the song and want to see the show depending on the style but if you go expecting to here the exact thing you heard on the radio you most likely wont get what you expected. and if im not mistaken the person who originally posted, KarenWalker, heard the radio liked what she/he heard and wanted to heard and wanted to hear a LIVE verson. You may find that the live version is better than the recorded in some cases. but they are ALWAYS different. Plus, you need to take into consideration that she had a chance to do many takes, listen to it, fix it, etc. So that is probably the BEST stuff they had of her.

Ya completely agreeing with Tiff here. This is a board that is supposed to RESPECT peoples different thoughts, and since you haven't even been on this board that long, it would be good of you to keep your defensiveness on a low key. I have seen "RENT" twice, once without Mel B and it was with Karmine Alers (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) and another time with Mel B.

In defense of myself and of others who have posted on this thread...

I have no opinion whatsoever on Melanie. I haven't seen her, I probably never will, I don't care. No I don't approve of stunt casting, but I do not judge her talent when I have never seen her perform.

Now that that is said, the reason I am *rude* to MelB4ever is not because I disagree with her opinions, because as I said, I don't have one. It is because this poster refuses to respect ANYTHING that anyone else posts if it does not agree with her own opinions. She *says* she understands the difference between facts and opinions, but she doesn't post that way. She resorts to personal attacks and utter rudeness for anyone who says anything negative about Mel B, and when people point out her "posting cruelty," she flames us back with immature and hypocritical statements.

Not to mention that this is a BROADWAY board and MelB4ever appears to only be here to rave about her idol and bash anyone who disagrees.

You belong on a Spice Girls site, not here. People LIKE Mel B there, so you won't have to worry about people disagreeing with you.

And for all of the people who are going to flame me for "wasting my time" and "having no life," let me just say that I find this VERY worth my time because I don't feel that on a BROADWAY website we should have to be plagued with reading these ridiculous and insulting posts from people who have no respect for what we are talking about here and who do not understand the concept of DIFFERENT OPINIONS.

Once again, I advise you not to waste your time "flaming away," because I couldn't care less and it won't change my opinion. I am sick of MelB4ever's posts and I am not going to read them without pointing out the utter rudeness and stupidity in which they are written. It's embarrassing.
