H'okay gonna forgive the Stedicam operator some if this was their first full runthrough.

Ya know I thought PP was bad- this is sad. I understand that advertising was sold on the basis of RENT ! Live but really they should have rescheduled or at least had an understudy for the leads. This is going to be the TV musical version of Carrie. Bragging rights cos u saw the accident happen. ( no I don't mean the ankle break and I can't believe they will show that- Standards and Practices forced them to clean up the show itself can't let real human suffering be seen)

She gets better as the show goes on. From what I remember, she redeems herself during "Without You" and her vocals are more clear there. I think it was rough for her dancing and singing to "Out Tonight" going into "Another Day."

I think the 'rock concert' esque element is an interesting addition. On another site I called it "not rent in it's pure form" but nonetheless enjoyable.

Fisher really sells Mark's dramatic elements, his tango maureen just about killed me with theatrics.

Angel's wig is so distracting goddamn.

Most of my commercials are music only.

I was reading somewhere a while ago about the sound mixing process during one of these events and I suspect there may be some scrambling going on to broadcast the recording. I would assume everything was st for a live broadcast.

I feel it got off to a shaky start but it is getting better.

That ridiculous intro about Angel being herself should not have to be explained by the actor. It should be shown by actor. What a disappointment. Surely there were better actors auditioning than Valentina.

yeah that was one of the issues with the movie. The cast of rent is a lot more sympathetic when they're young and figuring life out and making mistakes and being selfish and stupid as many young people are. It loses something if they're in their 40s

The Fox Now app stopped working, so I tried the Spectrum app and that's working so far. My TV is also working but that's in another room. I need to multitask during this because I seriously can't just sit and watch it.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

Yea I was a little disappointed they changed "think twice before you poo poo it" didn't think that was bad enough to get rid of. It's one of my favorite lines lol

I think Will I? felt so strong because it’s a chorus piece and the ensemble for Rent Live has some extremely talented and seasoned performers in it, plus everyone’s voice sounds a little better when mixed with others.

I’m only up to Today 4 U but is Valentina supposedly a singer bc that was a horrific vocal by any standards. I’m asking seriously.
