I'm interested to see if (because this was last night's dress) if we will actually see the point where he breaks his foot.
Not sure how I feel about that (if it's shown).
Wow some of the vocals are harsh. Agree that BVD and Fisher are the only ones holding their own.
Debating recording (since it is recorded already) and watching some other time-but I would just put my DVD of the last performance in instead

They’ve changed so many lyrics just for the sake of change. They deserve to fail because of it.
OK OUT TONIGHT was better than expected. And what the H*ll is it with the sound on theses "live" shows? Same on the Tonys. too.

Not only Adam, can the entire original cast just step in and do act 2 live. Please!?
Were the audience members just dancing in the background during Another Day?
So my local Fox stations were having technical difficulties and missed the beginning. So, that's it? No beginning?
Another Day isn't horrible, but the music now is drowning out the singing.
Does anyone else think Jordan is too charismatic for Mark? Id rather he do Angel.
Rent Live. Proof that you should give 100% in rehearsal because now their rehearsal IS their performance and.... it's a rehearsal. No one is pushing the belting or the higher notes, likely they were holding in the "good stuff" for tonight. Opps.
This Angels Today 4 U was all kinds of rough. There really wasnt somebody better for the part??

It happened after What You Own, off stage.

No breath control for Mimi though (forgive me I don't know the actress). Should have taken the short break before her part of the song to catch her breath after Out Tonight (which was pretty darn good)

Ok the audience is really ruining this for me. Maybe someone who was there can comment but usually for live productions, they are coached on when to cheer and applaud. I know they do that for DWTS and other live shows. They should have been told to stay silent to emulate a theater experience.
I agree that the sound mixing is awful for something that is pre-taped. My only guess is maybe they werent expecting to air the dress rehearsal?
I think live musicals should be restricted to NBC only. Maybe ABC too if they record stage versions of the Disney musicals.
Valentina, Clemons & Tinashe are terrible. Mario & Hunt are passable. Fisher, BVD & the ensemble are the only things saving this.

Glad someone else thinks Mimi has bad breath support! I noticed it with her vibrato.
Holy crap, Will I was AMAZING once the chorus came in! Where are THOSE singers and why are they not singing the leading roles in this cus their was more talent in the chorus of one song then the whole night so far.
So far, Life Support and Will I? are my favorite moments. It sucks that I missed the very beginning due to DVR issues.

I thought Will I was beautifully done.
I think Mimi's really talented (although she was definitely running out of breath towards the end). Jordan Fischer is doing really well in my opinion.

We were instructed for a majority of the things during the commercial breaks. But I feel like they let they were pretty lenient with the cheering and stuff because it was a rehearsal? They did hype the crowd a lot, though, and encouraged the audience to interact with the actors when it was appropriate.
Jordan Fisher is great but I agree, he is no Mark. He isn't anxious and he seems to lack empathy.
OBC CAST PLEASE!!!
Whew, Im nervous about Hudgens’s upcoming Maureen.
