Very good point BEKA, very good point. I think CC should hire us to write this screenplay lol
I'd love to discuss more, but I have a birthday party to go to. lol, and I'm debating which would be more entertaining: this thread or the party lol...
You know, the screenplay is probably totally different than the one we're discussing to the death. I'm sure there's probably like a new draft each week or something. I wonder how different it is right now.
They should bring in "Rent" fans to supervise the entire production. To make sure everything's in line. Haha.
All right, pardon the randomness but...I'm making a collage for the movie (cuz I'm way overly excited about it) and I want a view of the street from the roof (as in Glory)...anyone know where I could find a pic like that?

when i read the script, i thought that it was really clever, but i really missed the tune ups and voice mails! it was kind of hard to hear those songs in your head as being said. do u know what i mean?
I also miss all of the other street characters. They're not really shown too much. I hope they do add some more of them, because after all, "Rent" is about the bohemian life. But I'm sure there will be more than it shows on paper, so I'm not too too worried.
Right, I mean, they're casting extras. And regardless of where they film this, if it's going to look authentically like New York, they need people around.
im back. wow! there hasnt been much talk since i have left. lets start to talk about something. i have a question about the script. is the second version the real thing, or is it just fanfiction? i was wondering this ever since i started reading this message board.
oh my gosh! i feel really stupid! when i posted my message board, i made a typo and said the COST of rent film instead of cast. i am soo embarrassed. thanks steven for answering my question
