One of the smoothest voices in the business and a master of songs from the movies... RIP
He was 84 years old.

Andy Williams had third act trouble.

Andy and his brothers got started as a quartet backing up Kay Thompson's nightclub act:
Really?! I had no idea.
I only know of the Kay Thompson nighclub act from the tribute that Liza did in her European tour a few years ago.

Oh dear, I was listening to one of his old recordings in the car just this morning. May he rest in peace.
I used to love watching his specials when I was a kid. I may be Jewish but I loved his Christmas shows. RIP Mr. Williams.

Rumor has it Andy was much more than a back-up singer to the much older Miss Thompson.
"No, you can't have a cookie- not now, not ever, NEVER!!!!"
That dang bear sketch is still taking up space in my brain!
Rest in peace ( have a cookie!),
I can't say Andy Williams will be missed because he has been out of the public eye for a long time. Nevertheless, he provided wholesome entertainment for years.
Did your hillbilly parents play his music for you while you were in your outhouse, Jim Colyer, White Supremacist?

Jim Colyer, White Supremacist, is too obsessed with his own failed musical career to keep track of the sucessful folk in Branson.
I just saw him last year performing in Palm Springs. So, yes, he HAS been in the public eye recently. And he is missed.

I didn't think he'd do "Moon River," but then -- bam! -- second encore!
