I have to say when i saw CHARITY in chicago Denis O'Hare was soo nice and funny and really down to earth...and christina was great as well just a lot of people by her...maybe it was b/c she was still getting used to the stagedoor stuff but she seemed very shocked that there were people waiting but still very sweet
The ALL SHOOK UP cast was AMAZING....i saw it in chicago in the dead of winter, FREEZING Weather and being stupid i lost my shoes and went in sandles...Cheyenne and Jen were soo sweet and kind and were just great.

Stephen Bogardus (it's Whizzer! A real handsome man as well), Kerry Butler (the sweetest thing), Harvey Fierstein (without a doubt one of the greatest person to wait on!!!), Sarah Gettelfinger (a complete doll), Rebecca Luker (and her husband who I can't remember his name...Sorry!), and Rachel York (She was so nice to me when I was having a bad day one time, so she's tops in my book). GREG JBARA GREG JBARA GREG JBARA GREG JBARA!! He is positively one of the greatest human beings alive. Really cares about his fans and lets them know it! This man honestly doesn't have a single mean bone in his body.
I don't think anyone has mentioned her, but Shoshana Bean was very sweet to me. She rested her head on my shoulder in our picture! So sweet! Marissa Winokur was also very veyr very sweet, and Bruce Vilanch as well.
Greg Jbara is nice.

I can't believe no one has mentioned her yet....Annie Reinking is the nicest actress I have ever met. She was so nice and friendly the first time I met her I thought she was mistaking me for someone she knew!
Also nice:
Leah Hocking
Christine Ebersole
Phylicia Rashad
Bernadette Peters
Greg Jbara, of course. I don't think I've ever heard a bad word against him. Always very positive things.
Megan Hilty is A DOLL. So friendly and gosh darn cute. Matt Morrison, Kelli O'Hara, and Victoria Clark were all great. The Piazza stage door was a very very pleasant experience.

I'll add another vote for Karmine Alers.
Adrian Zmed (star of "Grease 2") is UNBELIEVABLY sweet. He has a real sense of humor about some of the, um, more interesting steps his career has taken.
I waited outside the stage door at "The Wild Party" (LaChuisa version). When Toni Collette and Eartha Kitt came out, they were signing playbills and talking to each other at the same time...Toni said something like, "Oh, Eartha, they really loved you tonight! They were clapping and shouting 'Brava' after your big song!" Eartha turned to her, smiled, and said, "Well, I had frrrrriends, dearrrrrr. What did you have?" Then they both laughed like mad.
Hands down, Greg Jbara and John Tartaglia.

I just got back from my 1.5 day trip to NYC where I saw "Doubt" and "The Light in the Piazza" and a musical downtown at the Ohio Theater called "Psyche."
All four actors from "Doubt" were really nice and approachable. Brian O'Byrne talked with me for a few minutes, seemed really interested in my trip and my school experience (which featured an episode sort of tangential to the plot). Cherry Jones, who came out 30+ minutes after the show but who the few of us standing out there were assured was "worth it" was really really wonderful. She stood and talked to me for several minutes, and was just a wonderful person to interact with. It's people like her that make . . . (fill in life ambition/goal/whatever) . . . worth it/worthwhile/whatever. Plus she was phenomenal in the show. Incredible. (They should NOT be charging orch prices for that mezz though, that was heinous)
Matinee "Piazza": Only Matthew Morrison, Mark Harelik, and Victoria Clark came out that I recognized, I think I recognized Kelli's u/s as well. Matt was extremely nice but very quick, I think he wanted to go home btw shows. Mark Harelik was very nice and very polite, stood and talked with me for a while as I was telling him about following the developments in the show since probably 2001.
Biggest surprise: Victoria Clark, who came out probably 25 minutes after the show, looking exhausted, signed everyone's playbills, then got into a huge black Escalade and was driven away, all very quickly. The most she said to me (after I told her about finally seeing the show, etc) was: "Well, now you saw it."
My theory: She was really tired/irritated, b/c someone in the audience had a seizure (!) at the end of Act I and totally drew focus, they had tons of people swarming around in the audience, and b/c in Act II in the big pause right after the wedding's called off and she can't get an English answer from any of them, she stood for the longest time (it fell like someone dropped a line), until some jerk from the loge said "So what happens?" Giggling, tittering in the theatre ensued; she calmly turned around, surveyed the audience glaringly, then continued. It was really embarassing and completely ruined any kind of moment.
Those are my updates! I LOVE CHERRY JONES
David Ayers (such a sweetie!), Karen Olivo, Shoshana Bean, the guy that plays Chistery in Wicked (unfortunately I forgot his name...Philip? somehow I recognized him at the stagedoor!), Sarah Jessica Parker (but that was like before SATC was huge, and I was like 10)and I have to add Heather Goldenhersh. (Did not see Doubt yet, but I had an opportunity to meet her, though she seems like she would be shy at the stage door.)
Phil Spaeth is currently playing Chistery in Wicked - and he is such a nice guy!
Sutton Foster is the sweetest person. Ever.
Julia Murney is great
Idina was really sweet and friendly...to me.
