Refunds are entitled ^.
If GADS of folks didn't show up/left....I hope it doesn't have ill effects on the show itself! Things were looking up.
She's terrible in the Youtube video with the other understudies.
They have to let people get refunds. Alice's name is above the title. Bobby's name is above the title too, so if he is out you can get a refund as well.
Oh ok, I didn't know their names were above the title. Thanks for letting me know. :)

no she wasn't ljay.
Her acting is very amateurish in the youtube video. But I did not see her full performance tonight, so I will not further comment on her.

Does anyone know about old she is? She looks very young to be playing Diana.
While you girls discuss and dish, might I ask, what provides a better view: front row of the Booth, or Row G-H in the Mezz?
Ripped, I am all about being close. I would go with front row...stage is not that high and you need to see the expressions on the faces of the actors.

the mezz is good for being able to see everytihng without having to look up but the front row is crazy close and you see every nuance of the performances.
I would go with front row, hands down.
I have a friend there tonight as well. Said the theatre is very empty, Jessica is very amateurish and not a suitable understudy for la Ripley. Also, confirmed my suspicion that Kyle Dean Massey looks much too old for the part, and that it is made worse by Jessica who looks younger than Alice.
I mean, it's not as easy as it sounds. I mean, I can either wake up hella early and stand in line for forever and MAYBE get a ticket. Or I can buy a ticket now and sit up in the mezz? I mean, it's also a big cost difference. I'd just like to see it either way. I'm just not sure what my chances are of getting a rush ticket. Did anyone attempt rush this morning?
Rush this morning was insane. I know there were at least 10 people who waited overnight for KDM's first show/Alice's first post-tony performance (lol).
That being said, I can't imagine it's that bad on a regular basis.

Well now that word is out that Ripley isn't in, I'm sure it will be just as insane tomm.
Ticket Question: I found a seat Row A right in the middle in the Mezz. But I can't find that same ticket on Broadway Box to use the discount? Is that normal? I mean, it should be in the "discount" part, but I can't get it? What's up?
Not all tickets and areas are available for discounts. Some seats are blacked out...
by the way..they changed the N2N website with Kyle listed..but he doesn't have the similiar pics the other cast memebers do..and Aaron is listed as on leave and Kyle is listed as being on as Gabe through the Summer
I also wonder if they'll change Aaron's face on the doors outside the theater and put Kyle's face. Probably not, but it might confuse people who want to see Aaron from the Tony performance and don't know that he won't be there this summer.
Did not go. Alice was out sick. Which I can totally understand and sympathize with ~ and no, she is not the type who would just call out for the hell of it. But I was not going to use my full-price ticket to see the understudy. I have nothing to report except the box office staff was refusing to do flat-out exchanges. They were insisting that they had to do refunds and then you purchase a new ticket. Which was a big fail.
The house manager was as nice as could be and said she'll work with me when I buy the replacement ticket (end of pay cycle right now and stuff prevented an immediate turn-around).
I imagine they will probably not want to spend the extra money on a picture of Kyle.. since Aaron is coming back in September anyway.
What a dissappointing opening night for Kyle!
How empty was the theater REALLY?

I'm not knocking Ripley for getting sick, i really understand that.
But if I had to pick ANY single night not to call out... poor Phillips, poor Massey, poor house management, etc. etc.
Is this foreshadowing that once Alice leaves, the show is kaput?
RippedMan: Sometimes discounts for popular shows will only be available on select seats. For example, when I saw Hair, the discount was only applicable on side orchestra/mezz seats. I did find two center orchestra tickets in the last row using the discount, and there were some center mezz tickets towards the mid-mezz, but generally they block off many of the good center seats to discounts. Spamalot did this a lot and so does Mamma Mia.
