Neil Patrick Harris is gunning for Franz (he's seen the show several times).
Houston still in the cards AND....
Adam Shankman really wants Miley Cyrus for Sherrie.

Adam mentioned in an interview about a week ago that he isn't even considering casting yet. And he just posted today that they were starting writing this week.

Miley Cyrus is a minor and still under contract with Disney. I doubt she would be considered for a character that ends up as a stripper.

These are just unclaimed rumors. Completely fabricated.

But I do have to say that it's not out of the realm of possibility for Miley to do this....She is, after all, featured in a racey cameo in the SEX IN THE CITY sequel coming out soon. So that point is moot!

I'm guess because she curses? That's far from racy if she does. Plus its a cameo in a (certain to be) R-rated film. Its not like the Hannah Montana groupies are gonna rush to see it. ROA, if she were to play Sherrie which I think is BS and a made up rumor because of multiple reasons, would be a headlining role for her and would attract more of her fans than a five minute cameo.

I 'continue' to contradict myself? Will Ferrell was the only miss info i got. So I'm sorry about that.
Again nothing has been confirmed so it's all liable to change. But, so far everything I've posted here is from the producers.

I guess my train of thought is that the "moral" of the story is that what she really wanted was the white picket fence, and that's how it ended. Stripping was portrayed as something she wasn't proud of.
