Any rumors of what else will be included in Roundabout’s current season? Feels weird that we haven’t gotten a full season announcement from them yet, the only Broadway show we know of so far is 1776

Was hoping they were helming a Pirates of Penzance revival (the Barrington Stage version a few years back was glorious!), but apparently it’s only a one night presentation in October for their fall gala.

Hope and ye shall receive (but not the Barrington production)

They're doing a full Pirates revival THIS season? Or in a future season? Seems odd for them to do a full production in the same season that they perform it as a one-night gala. Usually there's several years in between.

I've heard a revised version of MOOSE MURDERS is on the agenda.

Get Loretta Swit to take on Snooks and then we’re talking.

I can see the marquee know:
LORETTA SWIT in
MOOSE MURDERS
I hear Studio 54 will host a one-act play receiving its Broadway premiere this fall — it will star 3 Tony winners from this last decade.

A Roundabout production, or is this going to be another rental from a Jeffery Richards type? And any hints on the title?

Correct. Jeffrey Richard’s producing.

I have a wild guess, most likely wrong but: Bug by Tracy Letts directed by David Cromer (I’ve been wanting this to transfer from Chicago so bad) HAHA

Yep. Very exciting stuff in an already exciting season.

My guess also included Bug (I did hear that a transfer was a possibility and given Lett's track record on Broadway recently it would make sense given that this is one of his more popular plays) but that show isn't a one act (nor was it presented as one at Steppenwolf) and the Chicago cast doesn't have any Tony winners in it. Unless it's recasting some parts like how Tatiana Maslany did Mary Page Marlowe off-Broadway in the part Carrie Coon had previously played.
But also, this is total speculation, so who knows.

Incorrect at least for 54. ART is the three actor play. And it is due to star Alec Baldwin. Currently slated to into the JONES post Ohio State Murders.

Art with Alec Baldwin? Huh. It’s kinda random, and I agree it’s not really necessary. But hell, I’d see it.
Troynow, who’s the director on Art?
Matthew Warchus remounted his original production at the Old Vic a few years ago (with Rufus Sewell), and while it’s not a particularly deep or heavy-hitting play, I found it highly enjoyable.
ART would not be making it's Broadway debut if in fact that was the show.
I think Alec is way too polarizing coming after the RUST on set shooting for a non-profit to cast in a play. Too much at risk me thinks.

Really? Polarizing? Well, I guess that word might be appropriate since it's commonly used in politics and I think the only people who really jumped on the finger pointing train with that tragic accident were folks are the right exacting revenge for his Emmy winning turn on SNL. Otherwise, literally not a single independent agency has suggested any wrongdoing on his part. Where are the poles?
As for Art, count me as one of the few who never saw it and I'd be curious.

I sa ART and thought it was dull. Three men talking about a barely painted canvas. Zzzzzzzz
