My curiosity got the better of me, and I took a look. OMG those people are lunatics. They're objecting to his casting over something he hasn't even alleged to have done. They are are making a gross assumption about him. What's amusing is that they are so hysterical that even if they had real knowledge, no one would believe them. But it still isn't as bad as that crazy Spongebob stalker girl.

There was a spongebob super fan, and she followed ethan to his home and car after he didnt stage door. Called cast members rude names for not giving her attention. It was a mess

We saw the show yesterday and it was amazing, as always. I don't know the show well enough to analyze how Ryan compared to other people in the role, but I thought he was very good. He has a nice voice and did well with Fiyero's character arc. He and Jessica sounded amazing together. "As Long As You're Mine" was gorgeous and moving. My daughter finally figured out who Ryan was from Disney Channel when we were at the stage door (she hadn't read the Playbill in advance), and she was thrilled to meet him. All the tween girls were pretty excited. He was very sweet. He took his time signing, posing for pictures, and making sure he didn't miss anyone.

 

I think it's a shame that people are up in arms about what seem to be vague statements about Ryan being "awful" to Dove. If he was truly abusive, then I sympathize with her and do think it's terrible. But anyone who has been through a bad breakup knows how "awful" people can be. Not worth blowing out of proportion and banning an actor/show.
