Not sure why someone would say that Kelli "reads" younger than Laura. Zach and Laura are nearly the same age - Kelli is several years older than both of them.

Glad that Zach is doing this - loved him in First Date, Tangled, and chuck. Not the biggest fan of Laura, though - her vibrato can be a bit much.
Going back to my old argument, I feel that too often (and this revival is a perfect example), Georg and Amalia are cast with typical romantic leading man/leading lady actors (read: hotties). Not that hot people don't have trouble finding love, but it is much more believable that Georg and Amalia would be part of The Lonely Hearts Club if they are more average-looking people.
More importantly, by having Georg and Amalia be "average Joes/Janes," the audience can relate to their story better.
Just my opinion.
If they do up Lara as she appeared in the first act of Gypsy I think we'll be okay. She's capable of looking homely. Though, she cleans up nice, doesn't she?
Hi! Does anyone know when this show goes on sale to Hiptix Gold members? Thanks!

It was supposed to go on sale for Hiptix Gold and E-club members today, but it's not working for me, and I haven't received an email. Is it working for anyone else?
I keep getting a message that HipTix Gold tickets are sold out, did this happen to anyone else? I didn't receive an email either. The website is acting very weird.
I didn't get an email either. I also am having the same issues as everyone else.
Just looking ahead for my trip in March, everything looks "sold out"... I thought tickets went on sale 9/12...

I called Roundabout, and they said emails would go out tonight or tomorrow and online ticket sales wouldn't begin until then. However, they were really helpful and were able to sell me HipTix Gold seats over the phone.
The only version of She Loves Me that I can remember seeing was on PBS and starred Robin "Poldark" Ellis. I wasn't that impressed. The only song familiar to me was the title song, and I tend to judge musicals too much by how many songs I know and love. Seeing the response here, and having seen some video of Laura that has me believing that I like her more than I thought I would, I'm going to see this production.
As many of you probably know, Kelli O'Hara sings "He Loves Me" on her latest recording. City Center has her appearing in Henry Purcell's Baroque Opera Dido and Aeneas, of which I know nothing, on Thursday, April 28th and Friday, April 29th, with Ted Sperling conducting the Orchestra of St. Luke's. Not sure if that means she is out of King and I by those dates. Not sure if the show will run that long. Is a puzzlement how the Vivian Beaumont can be 75 percent sold for a week and yet still have the third highest average ticket price after BOM and Hamilton. Guess that it has to do with the 200 or so center orchestra seats that they designate as premium seats and charge $395 or $250 dollars for.
Lincoln Center Theater is scalping their own patrons.
Where would one suggest sitting if I'm interested in seeing the show? I've never seen a show at Studio 54 and I'm eligible for HipTix (and Gold). I'd love to sit in Orchestra and what was available when I called were seats far house right or left at the ends of the aisles (but pretty close!) so I didn't know how "askew" my view would be, if any. I'm usually an Orchestra Center kind of person, so I wouldn't even mind paying the full price for those if I had to. The other thing is my friend likes to stage door and I'm sure it'll be packed so that's why I was hesitant about making our way from possible seats in Front Mezz then to the door before it were to get crowded. Being in Orchestra would be great, then afterwards, going out house right, I believe, then the stage door is caddy-corner I heard?
The Hiptix Gold presale email came about 30 minutes ago.
As for seating, I've been in the front mezzanine for Cabaret (with the little tables, so it's probably different now) and the front side of the Orchestra for others. I thought both views were great, but I will say the Orchestra is incredibly comfortable at Studio 54 - big seats with insane leg room. There are no Orchestra Center seats on Hiptix Gold, I chose the best I could get which was two seats in from the aisle about 10 rows back.
And yes, the stage door is on the house right side - you definitely want to exit that way if you're looking to stage door.
Got my tickets to both She Loves Me and Noises Off. I went with center front mezzanine for both because I wasn't sure about the sides that were offered in the orchestra.
Does this mean that Access10 tickets aren't on sale yet or are they already sold out? Nothing is coming up for me.
It seems like the system is down - I just tried to get back on to look at more tickets and I'm getting sold out/error messages. It isn't accepting my presale code.
Sold out/error messages will show when you're logged in and have already purchased tickets.
I would assume since this is a presale, that the Access10 seats are not going to be on sale until Sunday.
can someone send me the access10 code for this? i didn't sign up for the mailing list until it was too late and i just spent 45 minutes on hold with roundabout trying to buy them over the phone.
The system also didn't come up until around 10:20. But I believe they are sold out now

What do we think the chances are that this show will end up on broadway box or playbill's discount? I'm trying to decide whether I buy a tix at full price or wait and risk not getting one at all
Most Roundabout shows seem to end up on BroadwayBox. Not sure how well this one is selling though, as far as I'm concerned it's the revival to see this season (but Benanti and Krakowski are two of my all-time favorites).
Just snagged two center mezannine tickets for the Feb 26 performance with my hiptix gold membership, couldn't be more excited!
Roundabout's ticket policies for OTTC were puzzling to me. Online they would show few if any orchestra seats left for a performance a month in advance. Seats still left were in the poorer locations. But, for most shows, including Friday and Saturday nights, forty or fifty prime orchestra seats would show up as available one or two days before the performance. At full price, of course. I know that they save tickets for subscriber switches, but I think there may not have even been time for all of them to sell.
I was a subscriber this season and went to the final performance of OTTC with an extra ticket due to a cancellation. I asked for a refund, since there were a bunch of people waiting for cancellations for the last chance to see the show. They said no. Five minutes after I take my seat, a woman sits down next to me, having bought my ticket for the full $172. I politely complain about this policy in an email and I receive no answer.
So I'm not a subscriber next season. But I used this season's privilege to hit the advance sale for She Loves Me.

I love "She Loves Me" -- but they keep reviving the same shows over and over. Didn't they do this one a few years ago?
