I was just about to send you a PM, Mike! I should have had more faith that you would be on top of this. :)
Here's to hoping for some rave reviews!

While I think the play itself is a bit of a talky bore, I think the performances are all top-notch. Carey Mulligan is truly fantastic.
Unrelated to the quality of the production: I dig their retro Playbills.

I LOVED the Playbills too. It would be nice if some of the other shows, especially the plays, went back to that style.

I'm not entirely sure why the production did it, since the play is set in the 90s, but it's a surprisingly welcome choice.

Does Skylight translate across the pond? I like the language used and the dialogue between the two main character and the two sides of the argument.

Here's the first review I found online - a rave:
"Leaving a play, I’ve never so badly wanted to talk to actors about how they do their jobs.
Which is, I suppose, another way of saluting the brilliance of these actors and the brilliant play they’ve brought to indelible life."

Now that all the reviews are in, how many Tony nominations shall Skylight receive?
Best Revival of a Play?
Best Leading Actor in a Play (Bill Nighy)?
Best Leading Actress in a Play (Carey Mulligan)?
Best Direction of a Play (Stephen Daldry)?
Best Lighting Design of a Play (Natasha Katz)?
Best Scenic Design of a Play (Bob Crowley)?

Much deserved NY TIMES rave. This production has stayed with me for the past two weeks.

Saw this last weekend... It's one of the best acted shows I think I've ever seen. Ranks up there with 'Proof' and 'Doubt' as the best plays I've seen on Broadway. Carey Mulligan deserves the Tony for Act II alone. Wow.

Am I the only one who hated Bill Nighy in this? I usually love him but I found his acting obnoxious and so over the top. Mulligan on the other hand was a revelation.
