Christian Dante White is amazing. He's so talented and so adorable. He's just as great as Creel, if not just a tad better, IMO.

Dante White has a great voice but his comedy sense was lacking and he was rather stiff when I saw him.

I disagree. I thought White was adorable in the role. And his voice was perfect. He turned me into a fan.

Count me as another vote in favor of Christian! I saw him as Cornelius in November, with Donna Murphy as Dolly, and thought he was terrific!
This is now the third time I’ve bought a ticket to see Gavin, and I never have, but I have no complaints about who I saw instead. First Jay Armstrong Johnson in Hair, then Christian, and now I’m seeing Santino in March!!! How exciting!!!

Ooh, this is so exciting.
I hope Gavin Creel is okay and has a speedy recovery! I love both these actors so much (so much!), they're both on my "see everything they do" list. And Hello Dolly is such a wonderful show. I must see about catching Santino Fontana.

Doesn't Cornelius give his age at 29 and three quarters? Or is that just in the movie? I saw Gavin in the Broadway production but I don't recall at all if he says that on stage.

Saw it tonight. Didn't care for the understudy's acting choices at all. Felt like he was auditioning for DEH. I thought he looked far too young to be with Kate Baldwin.
Santino would look great with her...imho.

I'm pretty sure Cornelius tells Barnaby in their first scene that he is 33 years old ("when am I going to get a night off?!"). Creel:41 Fontana:35.

with Greel missing so many shows now, it's seems pretty clear that Christian Dante White is the first cover for Cornelius. But I'm wondering if Ian LIberto has gone on yet as Cornelius?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
