"If you can't tell, I'm an extremely indecisive person".

Yeah, we got that. Look, you really want to see the show, then do what you have to do to see it. No one's going to hand you tickets, and the lines will only get longer from this point on.

Go already. You have exactly zero chances of seeing it if you don't try. If you fail, you're still in nyc. Plenty to do. The longer you wait, the less your chances.

Even if it rains, the odds of it getting rained out are small. They only cancelled one show in all of those weeks of rain. And honestly, if you want to see it badly enough... if you get wet, you get wet. That's part of the experience. Go!

Is anyone else having big problems with the virtual line? I haven't been able to get in for an hour.

I'm having a problem too, Em. I also had the same problem one day last week.

Yeah, in the past I've been able to get it to load by 1:30 or so.

So I got there pretty early today and ended up with crappy seats..

Is it even worth trying to see if I can swap them for better seats at the box office before the show or is it one of those "fat chance" situations?

Do they even let you do that? Since a lot of the good seats are for donors and whatnot, the unused ones would end up being sent over to the stand-by line.

same here. and I can't even blame it on the fact that I am live streaming the Michael Jackson memorial, I can get on any other website except to log in and confirm that I have lost the virtual lotto yet again.

re: Shakespeare in the Park Lines

I finally got on (I lost, I'm now 0/30 with virtual lotto) but I had to just leave the webpage alone to load for a good 30 minutes.

re: Shakespeare in the Park Lines

I haven't been able to get onto the virtual line since 1PM so I just called the downtown public theater office and they looked it up and told me I didn't win.

My friend won. But it was really early in the run and about halfway through, they stopped the show for rain. They were waiting to start again, but my friend left because it was getting late and she was getting wet. (She did go back to see it again.)

So, anyway, people do win.

I was finally able to log into the virtual line. I did not win.

What was confusing about that?

I got there a little after six today, and got some of the last actual tickets. I'm assuming they're awful seats, but I'm not quite sure-- does anyone know how far from the center section M is?

re: Shakespeare in the Park Lines

Which gate/row are they in?

I thought you meant you go into the show but you lost the virtual line.

Does anyone know if this is first come first serve?
