I really like your avatar, she looks amazingly like nicole kidman except with that sly look on. Did you read her interview in Show People? And yeah about shoshana, kinda disturbing but funny nonetheless. That stage certainly is not that big at all, you'd be surprised and with all that crap onstage and large ensemble, I can see something bad happening. I just still cant recover from thinking she went a little overboard

im STILL laughing at this.
Think about it, even Margaret Hamilton was hurt while playing the green one. Interestingggg. :)

Wouldn't it have been cool if she had been running so fast that she ran right across the tarp right up the aisle and through the back wall of the theater leaving an Elphaba shape cut out? that would have been cool.
I'll go you one better, Merrydothe!
Even Margaret Hamilton's stand-in Betty Danko was injured when they tried to film her riding the broom for the "Surrender Dorothy" shot. They had her rigged up to fly on the broom (sound familiar, Stephanie?), and the black "writing" smoke was supposed to be coming out of the back of her broom. She was suspended about ten feet in the air for the shoot... during a test run, the broom with the smoke exploded. Betty was in the hospital for weeks recovering from burns. The stunt was cancelled and Margaret Hamilton was filmed in front of a rear-screen projection of the black smoke instead.
It's a curse, I'm telling you!

Wait. I thought they used milk and some sort of food colored water to make it look like she was in the sky writing it?
lol, or are you talking about when they actually show her close up?
The "long shot" of her skywriting is a visual effect (done with a trick syringe, black ink and a tank of colored & milky water to look like sky, as you said).
The closeup in the actual movie is a process shot of Margaret in front of a rear-screen projection of the sky and smoke. She waves her hand and cackles.
The stunt shot, which would have been a medium shot of Betty Danko (Margaret's stand-in and stunt performer) on the actual broom with the smoke, etc. That was never actually filmed due to Betty's injury while they were testing it out. There are pictures in several books of her being rigged for the shot however. Pretty scary stuff.
So both Margaret and her stand-in were injured while playing "the green girl." You can add them both to the list.
DefyingEDCT, I love you.
Well not having researched RENT as extensively as I hope to in the future... I didn't know that Maureen didn't actually ride the bike... sorry. At least nothing's hapopened to Ana yet... or Saycon. *knocks on wood*
"This WIcked curse has got it out for her."
Maybe that's because she sucks.
I love the story Kristin tells about the night she popped her pills for her nech injury and went onstage. And how she didn't remember anything she did onstage but was told it was her best performance up to that point. It's a riot to hear her tell it!

Norbert's injury was unrelated to Wicked, though Cliento's spastic choreography probably aggravated his condition. Also, the stage isn't that dark when Elphaba makes her entrance. She was probably going too fast and lost her balance when she tried to stop.
This is so funny. Haha Elphabean down! Let's hope she stays down.
JK.
"Green Bean to base, Green bean to base, I'm down!"
PS - meagan9848, that's not very nice.
"Maybe that's because she sucks."
Maybe you suck. Probably. Definately.
Just my opinion. When I saw her she was dreadful.

People sure don't like facts 'round here.
It isn't my fault she has bad T#'s and terrible Qb's.
The theory prof is with us on the Qbs. He was like um, no, can't say I've heard that one...it's kind of cute though.

Maybe it will catch on.
Spill the beans.
The more I read, the more annoyed I become...people dislike SO MANY other performers...and it's totally okay to tool on them, but god forbid someone knock green bean off her horse.

That's what I've been saying this whole time!
I think Shoshana and Idina should have a brawl in Shubert Alley.

Oh my God.
That is the most immature thing I've seen on this board since 2003. Seriously, grow up. Or go post on your different username. That'd be fun, huh? :)

Heh, you think you are so funny - considering you don't know why I switched names...
...And yes, Jose knows I did...

No, I think you're the one who thinks they're funny.
And I don't really care why you switch(ed) usernames.
