Will Here Lies Love and Fun Home transfer to Broadway?? Any ideas on shows from London and any new shows from Trial ones off Broadway and on trial in other cities? for next season
Pretty sure that Finding Neverland, premiering in Boston at the ART, has it sights on b'way.
Is Willy Wonka still planning on coming over?

I always assume that new productions are aiming for Broadway. So kennedy Center has two, Paper Mill has one. Atlantans Alliance has two. Seattle has one. San Diego has two.
Papermill has CanCan which they are marketing as a "Pre Broadway run", and also Hunchback and Ever After. Are Hunchback and Ever After trying for a Broadway run?

I would assume so-- if they are well received.
I thought I read Finding Neverland would go to London after its Boston run to test the waters before Broadway. (It sounded strange to me at the time, but I seem to recall it.)
There has been talk of Fun Home transferring next season-fingers crossed.
As for the other shows, I'm not sure.

Honeymoon in Vegas
Fun Home
Hunchback
Finding Neverland
CanCan
All I expect to be coming to Broadway in the next few seasons.
Yank, Rebecca, Lone Star Love, Carrie, Busker Alley, bare, Flashdance, Bombshell, etc.
A good rule of thumb may be to hold off until the curtain actually goes up on the first performance.

Nobody's making bets on whether or not shows are coming to Broadway. Yes, some shows fail to make the move but it doesn't hurt to speculate.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory seems a good bet for next season.

When the Kennedy Center announced "Gigi", they billed it as a pre-Broadway engagement. Not sure if this has changed or not.
I read they were holding off on "Charlie" until Douglas Hodge's schedule was open-in the 2015-16 season.

Charlie won't transfer until Sam Mendes is done with the next James Bond (I still cannot believe such a classy director would direct that childish mess of a show )
I hope beyond hope that Can-Can transfers.
Also On the Town is coming in next season too, right?
Isn't Witness Uganda on track for a Broadway engagement?

I'd say it will go to off-broadway first and transfer if it sells well.
New Synchopation-I forgot about Mendes' availability. (I'd read Hodge had something, too, and that Charlie was on hold until the 2015-16 season.)
I'm sure the intent is to transfer Diner after its run at Signature in Virginia, assuming the producers are satisfied with the tweaks.
"I'd say it will go to off-broadway first and transfer if it sells well."
Where would it go off-Broadway? The non-profits have already set their seasons. I think Paulus and ART have enough name clout, plus the praise and press junket of the show itself, will allow for a direct transfer.

Totally agreed, Kad. At this point Diane Paulus does not need to bother with an Off-Broadway "tryout." The only reason she would go to an Off-Broadway venue is if she wanted to, not to see if the show can build up an audience before moving to a bigger venue on Broadway.
I was really looking forward to Tuck Everlasting last year, but I guess that's dead. I think it had more problems that not being able to find a space.
Fun Home is coming, and I hope the original cast stays.
I think Fun Home is coming, too, Sutton Ross.
I gotta say, if it had been on Broadway this season, I think it would have received several Tony awards.
I'm sure Hunchback will transfer.
