"I Miss the Music" from Curtains
"When the Kids Get Married" from I Do! I Do!- Agnes and Michael discuss taking up different instruments when the kids get married and then play them

Before the Parade Passes By from Hello, Dolly?
Hello to you all! First of all let me say thanks so much for all of the great suggestions!! You're making my great job a whole lot easier! I've had good momentum for a few weeks, but do I need your help with this week's show. Last semester I did a show with the theme "on the wrong side of the law" featuring songs about rogues, thieves, con men, murderers etc. Now I want to do the flip, so:
THIS WEEK'S THEME: On the Right Side of the Law, songs about cops, detectives, judges--anything to do with law and order.
CURRENT PLAYLIST:
--Theme from City of Angels

"The Crime of the Century" Ragtime
"The Wages of Sin" Edwin Drood

My favorite I Got Rhythmn is from Crazy for You. Thats probably the best and most well known. I would like to listen to this station
Suggested theme: the "I Want Songs"
explain how almost every musical has a number early in act one where a lead (usually while sitting on a tree stump) sings to the audience what they want, giving motivation to their character and a reason why you shelled out all that money.
They're often the second or third song, but not always
West Side Story: "Something's Coming"

Gypsy: "Some People"

THIS WEEK'S THEME: songs having to do with athletics, from Damn Yankees to the Ascott Gavotte--note not simply sports but athletics--runners, polo players, cyclists, etc. NOT dancers, only bc I've done dance based shows before.
I have some ideas, but I want to hear what you come up with! So go to it! I should say that I SADLY cannot play "What A Game" bc of the racial slurs and cursing.
The Bicycle Song HIGH SPIRITS
The Tennis Song CITY OF ANGELS
The Baseball Game FALSETTOS
and check out the scores for GOOD NEWS, ALL AMERICAN and GOLDEN BOY
