I’m headed to the city in March and have some spots left. I’m really intrigued about Shucked, but haven’t really heard any buzz. Was there positive buzz out of town? I’m really looking for any info to help make my decision.
There just isn't enough info to make a recommendation based on what we know from the out-of-town, so I would avoid at all costs unless you are desperate to fill your slot and have no other options. A decently talented cast, but that's about it.
There is already a thread discussing it.

How many spots left? What are you already seeing?

I saw a workshop they did downtown and laughed my butt off. I thought the score was very solid too. Not sure what the physical production will look like but the material then was very strong.
I was just looking at this show this afternoon and at least for the handful of shows i quickly clicked on, early - mid previews it looks like they’ve sold maybe 10 seats for each show so there’s no way I’m buying anything right now.
It’s definitely going to be a hard sell and need strong word of mouth. I say grab a TDF seat for previews for super cheap.

Yeah this show will have an uphill climb. But hopefully the producers know this.
If they knew that, then maybe a discount code would be nice.
Question: has there been a show that never never started previews due to dismal sales? (And I understand that Shucked still has time.)

In recent years; Nerds. But I think their was some behind the scenes drama with that too.
