I love Sister Act 1 & 2. I wish they could somehow put them both into one show. But I don't if that would work.

What made the movie so much fun was Marc Shaiman's music. If he's not writing this, I won't even bother.

Yay Menken! Will be nice to have a new score of Menken music on Broadway. I'm sure the score will maintain the gospel feel of the movie, without using the same songs. He can write brilliantly in any style, including doo-wop (see Little Shop of Horrors).

now how can anyone not be happy about this? this is one of my favorite movies! I'm gett'n excited!
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
