Mary Stuart Masterson would be sooooo good. Too bad she won't sell seats.
Exactly. She's the right age, the right night, and would act and sing the hell out of the role.

Actually, my friend's cousin's dogwalker said Laura, Barbara, and George W. Bush are going to be in the show. And Anne's going to be played by Lea Michele. Shhh.

"Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson"
They couldn't keep another mother/daughter show running after both winning Tony Awards. I doubt any producer would put them into a show together where ticket sales have relied pretty heavily on the star power of the leads. I could see Mary Louise Wilson being cast opposite a big name, but I think it's highly unlikely that you will see Christine Ebersole playing Desiree in this production.
Kate Winslet and Ann-Margret.
Donna and Chita will be the next cast. I just have a feeling.
Elizabeth Hasselback and Barbra Walters.
There, I said it.

Hehe. Imagine Chita being offered a wheelchair bound character.
Well Grandma needs a paycheck!!! lol

I REALLY want to see Lea Michele and Idina Menzel get cast just to see if BWW would literally implode.
Or seriously, how about Michelle Pfeiffer and Jane Fonda? Y/Y?

I could see Michelle Pfeiffer. However, if they are looking for replacements I would imagine that it would be most likely to be somebody who has been on Broadway before. A star of the caliber I would imagine they would be looking for would probably be unwilling to make their Broadway debut as a third replacement, especially in a show that is not a guaranteed run (like going into Chicago for instance, where a star can go into that and not have to worry that they might be the one to cause it to close before it was expected to).
I'll say it again. Kate and Jon Gosselin with all 8 of their kids rotating the role of Fredrika.
