"And obsessive telling anyone who doesn't like a show on a message board, that they havea stick up their ass is stupid as well. So, you have fun with your life. What ever will you do when ROA closes? is suicide your only option? god i hope so. "
Ignoring the inappropriateness of this post - it's highly hypocritcal.
Were you not one of the posters on here knocking ROA for weeks/months now - without ever having seen it? If not, my apologies, but I'm pretty sure I remember you ragging the show (in a very lame manner) in the past. So it's obvious that you were gonna go in with your mind made up. That's why you get (and deserve) the stick up your rear comment. If you had not previously posted on the show, then simply did not care for it - well, that's fine. But's that's not the case here, now is it?
And you openly admit that your opinion of the show is influenced by the postings of a half dozen fans on this site. And while massofmen is pretty awful - that is pathetic - and obsessive on your part. Hoping for suicide? Not offensive to me. Just sad.
Since you are apparently a writer (couldn't tell based on your posts here), I hope that when the show closes, all the obsessive ROA fans find something you have written (if that ever happens) and rip it to shreds sight unseen - simply cause they thought the author was an insufferable ****on a message board.

no, but i can understand that if yours touched you inappropriately that you'd need a code word for that.

I guess they went over your head. I'll label them and type slowly for you.
Point 1: You disliked, and insulted the show way before you saw it. I don't remember the exact comments, but I'm pretty sure you ragged on it. Why, I don't know, cause you hadn't seen it.
Therefore, of course your opinion once you finally saw it, is worthless. You went in against it, and continue to be against it. No surprise there. Your opinions don't change. Says so right in your sig. It's too bad you form ignorant opinions. To make that clear for you - you formed your opinion before you saw the show - hence the ignorance.
Point 2: You admitted that you dislike the show more cause massofmen and some others are obnoxious in their fandom. Which means you aren't capable of being objective as you claim. Which makes your opinion, again, worthless.
Point 3: You talk about others being obsessed - meanwhile, you are driven to wishing for suicide - by message board posts. Mirror. Buy one. Look in it.
Got any other cute one liners?

Posted: 6/4/09 at 2:35amYou know...when I saw Rock of Ages, I left at intermission. I just didn't like it. But, I got the cast recording today and I'm actually enjoying it. The recording is fun. Maybe I should go back and give the show a second chance.

I went to NYC for the first time this past March. Went to see Wicked because I've wanted to for a long time. Then after Wicked I all of a sudden decided I wanted to see another show. I called my sister so she could look up what a few of the shows were about. I decided on Rock of Ages. It was still in previews. TKTS only had partial view tickets so I went to the box office and got great seats for that night. I only knew it had 80s hair band rock songs and starred Constantine from American Idol. I love most all things 80s so I figured it could be fun. I had a blast. Most everyone there did. The guy sitting next to me left at intermission. I didn't care because it gave me a little more room (yes I'm selfish that way hahaha). It was like a cheesy fun 80s movie mixed with a rock concert at a bar. I mean that as a compliment.
But I figured everyone wouldn't like it. You can't please everyone. While I really enjoyed it, I don't wish ill will on all family, friends, and pets of those that didn't. Taste is subjective after all. That explains half the junk on TV, radio, and movie screens these days
So, was that too polite and diplomatic for this forum?

Posted: 6/4/09 at 2:01pmHow in the world did Constantine get nominated over James Barbour? Seriously! This nomination is a joke in my eyes... At least give it to someone deserving! It's not a bad show and should be nominated for a few categories, but Constanting over Barbour is a travesty!

Amy Spanger needs to get in a show where she can actually act.
I would think she would want that- atleast for personal fulfillment.

barney,
categorizing me as "obnoxious" and "pretty awful" is kinda ignorant don't you think?
didn't you just sign on as a poster?
Maybe you should spend a little more time with someone before you make assumptions concerning them.
or not. your choice. Deciding on a person in one or 2 threads instead of looking at a body of work is mainly infantile.

First incarnation. And I definitely haven't said anything as bad as either zone or massofmen.
massofmen - you are constantly taunting. You make it really hard on people who like ROA, because with the way you bag on other shows and throw every little (or big) success of ROA in people's faces, you "dreg" up the worst in other posters. I'll leave it at that.

>>This nomination is a joke in my eyes...
Did you bother to see the show before you decided that?
I don't think the people who decide these things said- let's throw Constantine in just for fun.
He does a wondeful job with the role.
He can sing-
he can act
& he's adorable.
What else does BEST ACTOR need?
