Song suggestions for a mom to sing to a son

My son will become a bar mitzvah soon and I would very much like to sing something to him at the party. I need suggestions. High soprano voice. Nothing religious or anything that talks about prayer or G-d, please.

Another song choice could possibly be "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line.

There's a beautiful song from "Songs for a New World" (written by Jewish composer Jason Robert Brown) called "Hear My Song"

I highly recommend it!

I wasn't familiar with a few of these songs so it's great to research them. I have a very high range (c4 -g6)so if that opens up ideas, bring them on. I know I will never find the perfect song with the perfect lyrics but some of these have potential. Thanks.

There aren't many high soprano songs in MT, so you may want to look at classical pieces.
