I was just reading some posts, across various sites, about people hearing bad audio & having a hard time making out what the actors were saying throughout Operation Mincemeat (notably in the mezzanine). Is that still the case, or have the sound issues been improved?
I’m going to see the show in a week and a half, and I have a seat in the last few rows. Should I really expect to have a hard time following the story, etc? (If so, is there anything I could/should do to aid this situation?)
Thanks

Saw it Saturday from the balcony. No sound issues. But like Hamilton, the words can come fast. Need to pay attention.

I was in rear orchestra. I had a lot of issues hearing the lyrics especially in group songs. The English accents are a part of the problem. Perhaps the comparison to Hamilton makes sense—listening to the recording ahead of time probably makes a big difference.
I was there last week in the very last row of the orchestra. I could hear everything absolutely fine.

Also sat rear orchestra and had no issues. But as others have said, the dialogue is very fast and the British accents can make it difficult if you're not used to hearing them (or that style of comedy). So I have a feeling these complaints are more about that, rather than actual sound system issues.
I think some peoples’ brains shut down when they hear a non-American accent lol
