Hunter/prey was good, but I *loved* Lisa's delivery of "I didn't even know they made silver clogs." The line's not particularly funny, but she just does that deadpan thing so brilliantly!
The ringing cell phone was so annoying though- Deborah was great with how she handled it, especially with how she tried, she totally did try, to push on- I might have to bump up that rude audience stories thread and add it there...
I am back from San Francisco and could not thank you more for leading me to that show thanks to your thread. Being French I would never have seen it but we went there a week ago on Saturday and my friend got to do the Bee, she was so anxious but couldn't stop laughing afterwards thanks to the words she had to spell, for example, Mexican. What a great cast San Francisco has !
In my heart, I found the answered dream,
and in my soul I found the song, and in my friends
I found the magic, the love,
the moon up above- they were mine, all mine, all along..!
OMG WHERE'S CELIA in the PICS of the CAKE? I capitalized the mroe important words...hence, "cake", "celia"

'Acting provides the fulfillment of never being fulfilled. You're never as good as you'd like to be. So there's always something to hope for.'

New choreography this week! Apparently there was a run through and a few things are added to the show.
When Olive and cast sing the Doo doo doo da da das in Dictionary, the cast link arms with each other and the audience participants, and sway back and forth.
Marcy Park has a few new things added to her Six Languages dance.

Wait, that's new? They've done that every time I've seen it in SF. Maybe it was just new to NY.

I think it's good that the cast here is taking some of the stuff done at other shows and incorporating it here. I mean, I'm the only one who will really notice, but it keeps it fresh and fun!
Hey... Long time lurker first time poster... I first saw this show when it was Off-Broadway. I went to yesterday's 2:00 matinee and WOAH. Just... WOAH. Incredible timing and audience participation on everyone's part. Derrick's understudy was fantastic and JUST like the original. My memories: Here are some of the introductions the audience got: "Mr. ----- just finished up his high school's performance of 'Everybody Loves Raymond'". (Jose said "Didn't Ray Romano just get 'mexican'?") "Mr. ----- is waiting for his favorite styles to come in color." "Mr. ----- misread the weather today, hence the long-sleeve flannel and shorts." "Mr. ----- has nicknamed himself Frodo." "Mr. ----- won his district bee by coming in last and enacting Opposite Day." "Ms. ----- intimidates her opponents with her hair." "Ms. ----- is a big comic book fan and likes to come in uniform- she's wearing pants owned by the Incredible Hulk." There was this little girl who acted along with Greg, and was hilarious when she got cow. "Can you use it in a sentence?" "...please, spell cow." (She stares at him) "Hey look, there's a cow...?" She ended up getting dengue. "Ray Romano" got cenacle [and out], and Frodo got Xeno... [and "Prayer of the Comfort Counselor"] At one point, while Barfee was spelling, some guy let out one big, loud chuckle (just one). Josh just stared at him. Sarah's rant about the leader of the CIA and the NSA was great Since this has been discussed in the topic: Marcy's conversation with Jesus was MUCH different at SS. In SS, the curtain opens and he's up on the cross behind the Cloud background. The new version, in my opinion, works much better.
One last thing: I was relatively close (3rd row!) and I have to say this: Jesse spits ALOT.
Ok, after meeting the cast, and talking to them, and crying at the i love you song, and seeing it twice (this was posted earlier) i just listened to Celia on Jeff Blumenkrantz's podcast. I can't believe they dropped her from "Piazza" because she was too like, childish or whatever. She is so cute, and funny, and special. She should get more love. AND AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WANTS JESSE-TYLER FERGUSON AND CELIA KEENAN-BOLGER TO GET TOGETHER? OLIVE LEAF FOREVER!

OLIVE LEAF! OLIVE LEAF! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO That is going to be my icon, once I'm done being hyped over pajama game!
Oh, and in a performance of spelling bee, they were sitting there, whispering, talking, and laughing while Barfee was spelling. I wanted to take a picture, but i couldn't, respecting the rights of CITS. Anyone know when Celia's doing a concert?

Where's the ACTUAL picture on Broadway.com? I mean, I know where it is, but I want to see the full slideshow, (them on the bus, etc)I tried searching celia keenan-bolger tonys or tonys 2005 and all thsoe sorts of combos of keywords. Can someone help? I saw a heck of a lot of musicals last season, so I've been at broadway.com for tonys 2005 pictures and stuff... but I just don't see that there!
