This marks the SECOND time I am going to have to be refunded tickets...wow and a family member was looking forward to this for months.....
What stinks even more is the service charge to print the tickets is not refunded by ticketmaster...I guess they did not equate refunding the cost of printing tickets into the $65 million

I would say that is a legitimate request.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

The 28th of December? Hmmmmm....an interesting question. I'd think they'd be willing to EXCHANGE not refund. (Why did you go ahead a buy a second set of tix?)
How many of you are questioning whether THESE dates will be accurate though or will there be another delay??

I am scheduled to see this 1/9/10. At things stand now, this is the final preview performance before the official opening. Which is fine by me.
I would not be surprised if there is another delay, though.
I also find it interesting that, if you go to ticketmaster.com, and go to the Broadway page, you can see "Spider-Man" there, but then if you click "More Broadway Shows" to see the complete list of Broadway shows, then "Spider-Man" is not even listed. I wonder if not listing it there decreases sales from people coming into NYC and looking at the listing of all shows to pick one to see.

LesMiz24601, did you receive a refund for the handling/service fees the first time around? I did not. This was a promised guarantee from the producers of the show...as they sent about 3 emails out to everyone who purchased tickets saying not to worry, you'll be refunded both your arm and leg. There went $26.50 down the tube (for a total of 2 tix). I hope they don't push it back even more. I have tickets for mid-December and this time a 3rd person is joining me and the handling fees went up yet again, in addition to the ticket prices.

This whole fvcking show is a scam that I'm convinced telecharge has a part in. They should all go to jail.

Well to be honest, I get some of the fees mixed up...also it was a while ago...but I do remember a fee for printing the tickets that was defiantly not refunded...maybe it was part of the handling fee??? But the ticket agent on ticketmastsr even made it clear that it seemed unfair as I printed the tickets with the knowledge of a performance! I know it was a small fee per ticket, but it did not make me what to buy advance tickets again, because I never thought lightening would strike twice...(oh wait it did)

Has Spiderman been paying rent on the theater this whole time?

By now you'd think they'd have gotten the feeling that this a bad idea.
I know you.

It's what the historian Barbara Tuchman calls "The March of Folly" - the inability to stop pursuing a disastrous course of action, due a linked inability to admit mistakes.

I was just notified electronically that my performance for December 15 has been cancelled. They're willing to exchange for three other dates. They will also accept refund, which is the way I'm leaning. I settled on the date due to my seat location, and I don't trust them anymore.

JMPlayer6, you think your signature could be a bit longer? I can still barely make out your actual post.

Oh my. Someone should let telecharge know that defiance isn't necessary.

ya know I distinctly recall that the 2003 "revival" of Little Shop of Horrors was forbidden from dropping vines on the audience for fear of injury... have safety standards come so far in 7 years that now we're cool with catapulting grown men at them?
"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

My entire family (a group of 7) was supposed to see this during our Thanksgiving trip to NYC on November 27th (I'm not a tourist, I grew up in New York). I was SO pissed when I heard about this, but they refunded our tickets and I changed my flight so that my brother and I can see the first preview on the 28th. I am very excited to see this. Whether it's amazingly good or amazingly bad...it will be amazing.
