I don't. I found it once, but never again. I had a regular one and ended up calling them to get it switched. I recommend calling over emailing if you don't find it...they didn't respond to my email.

Am I the only one who is concerned that this just isn't going to sell? I personally would like it to succeed, and I hope it will, but I am worried it won't get the audience it may deserve because the deaf actor sign language thing comes across a bit gimmicky to me, and has already been done of course. Plus, with it having played so recently, etc-- normally TDF offerings are bad signs for the box office strength of a show to come. However, that said, I would like it to succeed. I'm just curious if anyone else thinks this is bad news?

Very few shows don't have early previews on TDF.
As for concerned? I don't have any money in the show, so... no. It seemed to get tons of raves in L.A., no?

Yes, many shows are on TDF in previews. Besides, Spring Awakening is a limited run, isn't it?

It may not sell well, but the producers behind this knew that risk. It is coming in on a limited run and with a large cast, which can make it harder to make money. But this show was very well received in LA and they're going to run with that. This production isn't designed to be the next Wicked, but it's doing such great things to expand theater audiences and create awareness about how diverse theater can be.

There are now only 3 dates showing for me (as I assume the rest have sold out). I'm disappointed I had trouble getting them earlier today. I kept (and still am) receiving the message "Your order could not be processed! There are not enough tickets available to fulfill your order. Please select an alternate performance." Even though I'm just searching for 1 ticket! Is their system usually this slow in removing dates they no longer have left?

Posted: 8/26/15 at 9:40amAs far as being concerned about box office, there were A LOT of dates up yesterday morning. Which honestly doesn't bode well. But the producers knew what they were getting into in bringing this production to New York.

For those who missed that first round of tickets: tomorrow's show (Thurs 9/10 @8pm) went up on TDF. With very limited availability. Snag it while you can!

Anyone know where the seating has been for the TDF tickets? Seeing it this weekend and I'm very excited.

I got the TDF ticket for last night and the seat was at rear orchestra left (second row from the back). The view is very nice. The row is slightly elevated so there's nothing blocking the view.

I was at yesterday's matinee too - received left orchestra, row J, seat 15. Though off to the side, still offered a great view! Sadly, the 4 seats to my left were empty, as well as the 6 or so seats at the end of each row for every row behind mine. I hope they are able to sell better as I really loved the production. Will hopefully get the chance to return again before their 18 week engagement is up!
