I thought Krysta was very good, although I still prefer Lauren's voice. Their acting and inflection in their speech was almost identical, though.

I can't get over how amazing this show was. We saw the 8 p.m. show on the 29th and were privledged to a Q. and A. with almost the entire cast afterwards. That was an experience I will never forget. They were all very INCREDIBLY kind at the stage door and I'm all but in love with Jonathan Groff.
We went out and bought tickets for the evening performance of the 30th the next afternoon just so we could see it again with some friends before we had to leave. I would have seen it many more times, but alas, I live in Alabama making that dificult. The cast was very nice and not that sketched out by the fact we had seen the show twice in two days. And again, the little teenage crush I have for Jonathan Groff grew even more lol.

BTW snl89, John Gallagher doesn't wear a wig in the show- it's his own hair and a ton of hair spray! I enjoyed your impressions of SA.

^oh really!?! haha... actually I guess that makes sense, cause it IS the same color... its just so crazy in the show I figured it had to be a wig :P
and yeah... Jonathan Groff. *le sigh* I want to have his babies. Oh and his voice officially makes me high
I've been listening to the recording all day and I really cant get enough of it

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

This is my new favorite show. I've seen it twice in the past three days and plan to see it many more. It is just that good.
Johnatahn Groff is AMAZING. And one of the friendliest people that I've met.

I loved the show it was really amazing. But a few things bothered me. 1. The scene where Melchior starts beating Wendla. That didn't really make sence why would he just start beating her like that unless he has some type of mental disorder? 2. They over pronunciated everything I know it was set in 1890 Germany but you don't really have to make it sound so unnatural. Those are my two things of the show but over all it was so great and I was really blown away by it.

I saw this show on the 29th during the matinee and I got to sit on the stage...it was so awesome...one of the most unique experiences I have had watching a show...I was on the left side of the stage and got to sit next to John Gallagher....I have to go see this show again...the only weird thing that happened was during the scene where Melchoir beats Wendla a man in the audience started to laugh...what the hell???

Don't tell me he was seated on-stage.

no he was in the house and yes whatyouown he was annoying...has anyone sat on stage and had to deal with this one usher who was very intimidating when he was talking to you about the rules of sitting on stage? when everyone on my side got in their seats they looked around and asked if we were allowed to clap and laugh

When I went, it was a lady and she was OK.
Vi, I wonder if any funny business has been going on with the onstage audience......????? Hecklers? Weirdos? The actors were in arms reach of me throughout the show - makes me hope that no psychos try to grab at them.
As tempting as it would be to touch Mr. Groff I just wouldn't dare. Only in my dreams......

nothing funny...although there were teenage girls across the way from me and Mr Groff sat next to them and they were in awe...and then the love scene happened and they got an even better veiw...their faces were priceless

The view of Mr. Groff's behind from seat BB 2 is AMAZING.
And I will be RIGHT BACK THERE in a few weeks to enjoy it once again!

I sadly was in section CC so I missed the nice veiw, but my seat was still awesome and our section of people were very cool...we commented about the usher and at the end we all looked at eachother and said how we didn't want to get up...we also didn't know if we were allowed to get up...now I have been listening to the soundtrack non stop...I didn't get to see lauren though..her understudy went on, but she was good

I'm most likely going to see this show this Saturday. Is there a student rush for every show of Spring Awakening? I got confused when I found out Les Miserables was only student rush Tuesday- Thursday so I am just making sure that I could get student rush for a Saturday show. If anyone can tell me that would be grannndd!

I think the diction comment is really spot-on. You can definitely see which kids trained or grew up doing a lot of musical theatre, and which kids did a lot of straight theatre just by the way they annunciate their lines.
