Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

So now the hardcover coffee table book has a name! And a Sept 2 release date!

I tried searching but didn't find anything on the boards!

I'm not too sure I like the name of it, it'll probably grow on me but I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

I can't wait either! Has anyone that submitted a story/personal statement for the book been contacted yet?

re: Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

Anybody else want to point out the sexual innuendo in this title? No? Ok. SEXUAL INNUENDO!!!!!!!!!!

Will it have nude pics of J. Groff in it? Because I may pre-order.

re: Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

Is the book JUST fan stories or will it have info like the Wicked Grimmerie, etc?

re: Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

I'm sure it'll be a lot like the Grimmerie! I'm guessing it wont include the script though, seeing as they've already released that separately!

It does seem like something called "In the Flesh" would have some risque photographs, but I doubt they'll be so bold. We'll just have to wait until he's approached by Playgirl.

Anyone know what's gonna be in this book?

I must say, it's pretty gorgeous! Reminds me of the Grimmerie!

I wrote something for it, haven't been contacted, not getting my hopes up.
Any ideas of what the format will be like?

this is a psrt of the description:

"Spring Awakening: In the Flesh is more than just a companion book -- it's a new opportunity to experience the show. Designed to resemble a vandalized book, this beautiful volume offers more than one hundred photographs, handwritten drafts of hit songs, original sketches of costumes and sets, an annotated, unabridged libretto, and unprecedented access to the hit show, making Spring Awakening: In the Flesh a must-have for fans of all ages. That was the best title they could come up with?

re: Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

Well I hear they also toyed with "Spring Awakening: SEX PUN, GET IT?"

Definitely looking forward to original sketches, hoping they're not just some minor obscured thumbnail inserted beneath some mundane snippet.

It's not my job to. re: Spring Awakening: In The Flesh

It just seems like they could have come up with something a little sexier, if that was the intent. Which I suspect it was. "In the Flesh" makes me think of like... those diagrams of the human body that reveal all the layers or something. Not sex.
