I'm really happy with this cast. Especially Gina and Jayne.

So much for the people hoping for Andrea Burns.

Or anyone else. This almost sounds like they were inspired by the Guys & Dolls revival cast.

Andrea Burns was going to be the only thing getting me to see the show. Oh well, t least she can still amaze me in In The Heights.

Ugh. Gershon is not even Spanish, right? There were so many more exciting choices for Mae. Stamos seems like the most exciting part right now.

It seems weird in this day and age to cast the role of Rosie as someone who isn't Latina at all.

so do previews begin on the 10th or 11th?

Houdyshell is inspired.

Houdyshell is a goddess, one of the great living actors, and anything she is in becomes worth seeing.

Can Gina handle the dancing demands of the role?

I'm rather upset that Andrea Burns isn't Rosie. Is Matt Doyle still attached to this?

Last I heard, Matt Doyle is still attached as Hugo. I stand by my opinion that it's a complete waste of talent. Matt Doyle in a non-singing role?

I've been hearing 9/11 all along though Friday seems an odd night to start.

Glad to know that Matt will have work. What a talent!

I agree, Tom1071. It's just a shame Hugo doesn't sing a single thing.

It's kind of a mish mash of casting from everywhere, I think they are all fine performers, Stamos is OK, his personality is a good fit for Albert. Gershon will have the greatest hurdles, not much musical experience and filling Cheets' dancing shoes is obviously very difficult, ask Ms. Olivo. Both Irwin and Houdyshell are terrific, it just seems like a strange grouping.
Give us Kim and Conrad NOW!

What a disappointment about Rosie. They cast a white woman? How many great Latina actresses are out there right now that would have been brilliant as Rosie? What a dull choice.
I'm thrilled about Houdyshell. She will be brilliant.

I think Tony Yazbeck would be a good Conrad.
