Saw the matinee today and as usual it was fabulous! I really want to say something about this cast. I am amazed at how much chemistry this cast has. It only takes about 5 minutes into the show to see how close they are as a company. I have never seen anything like that before. You just don't just see it, but you feel it.
A couple of other things....
1) Anthony Hollock was out---- replaced by Josh Lamon.
2) I love sitting up close just to hear the side conversations the cast had with each other and the funny little things they do when they think people are not watching.
3)A little note to dramamama611---- The seat is GREAT! I had alot of cast interaction in that seat( had my hair played with and a cast member was literally like 1 foot from my face during one of the songs) The view is fantastic as well.
4)I loved seeing all of the understudies and swings up on stage at the end.
5) There was a drunk guy at SD...eating a sandwich. He also had the plastic toy guitar. He was heckling the body guard guys. Some of the cast just ignored him, but the drunk guy seemed to have a crush on John Moauro. He was like hanging onto to him after he was done signing, and he put his mouth on John's face. The other cast members and everyone else was laughing. Everyone there had a lot of fun with the drunk guy.
6) Watch Kacie Sheik during 'White Boys."
If I think of anything else... I will add it :)

You might have been standing near me at SD because I was right next to the drunk guy, he was creeping me out.
So this show was INCREDIBLE. I absolutely loved every minute of it and I agree that the cast has rediculous chemistry, they seem so close. I have never ever seen anything like it and .. whoah. dancing on stage at the end was so fun and I was sobing during the ending and this show was just amazing. It's been a while and I still can't formulate proper thoughts about it.

I generally lose lotto, but I find that if I REALLY want to see the show, I win. Plus, i'm poor.

SGV -- thanks for the info about the seat! I could see from one of the vids that it seems like a great place to sit as well.

What a great show and talented cast!
Also, Tom Hanks and family was in the audience tonight. One of the cast members got him to dance in the aisle.

awesome pics! thanks for sharing. cannot wait for the cast recording! i would assume it will be out around the same time as WSS's cast recording? i know a date isn't schedualed for it yet, but if it comes out on the same day we will have 3 great cast recordings coming out that day; WSS, Hair, and Story of My Life.
