I sat in the back of the mezz. left side. The view was ok ( too far back for me though). I sat in the second row of the orch on the aisle the first time, so maybe moving back to the mezz was just not good for me.

I sat in the back row mezz. Sure, it was far away, but the cast was so electric that the energy went far past the last row. It was fine and for that price, it's one of the best deals on Broadway!

^ thanks alot! One of my favorite photos of him :)
The first time I saw the show I was in the second row on the aisle. The second time I was in the last row of the mezz. The view was ok, but I really missed the cast interaction I had in the 2nd row. I was so spoiled there, and I think that is why I did not like sitting in the mezz.

^Will is for real like a Greek God, he's that gorgeous. It's kind of ridic. haha
Anyway, I neeeeed to see this show again. Ugh, if only I'd been better about getting my work done over the week, I could have gone in this weekend haha
I WILL get my work done this coming week. And Hair (and Next to Normal) next weekend will be my reward. If seeing two incredible shows don't force me to do it, nothing will

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

i was at the show tonight and i stagedoored and kacie sheik came out with her dog and it was the most adorable boston terrier i have ever seen! so cute. has anyone else seen her come out with her dog?
plus- saycon was on for dionne and she was great! she was really nice at the stagedoor along with the whole cast! bryce thanked me after for playing along during the show because he played with my hair during "Hair" for a good minute or two it was hilarious. i actually got good seats using the discount. row n seats 2-4. for anyone planning to buy tickets, if your a seat snob wait until about a day or 2 before the show you want to go to because the past two times i have bought tickets i checked everyday for a week and they release quite a few a couple days before.

I saw the show last night via standing room. After the lotto they sell 11 standing room tickets for $25. The show was great but I didn't like Saycon that much as Dionne. Her voice wasn't nearly as good as Sasha's.
One thing I noticed standing in back was that there were a bunch of people leaving right before the curtain call. They didn't applaud or anything. I thought that was sort of rude.

Aw...Chita, that's been going on for ages. There are rude people in the world.
Everytime I check this thread I get myself pumped up again and then realize that I STILL have 2 weeks to go before getting into the city for this.
AAAUUUUUGH....it's too long. I am too excited.

Why were there cats in the aisles?
Sgv, I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure SRO is usually in the back of the orchestra or mezz.

ok, thanks!
I sat in the last row of the mezz. and there did not look to be any room. I didn't think there would be SRO at all b/c the cast is always at the back of the orchestra running out into the lobby and up the stairs, but I guess 11 people may still leave room.

Forgot about that...maybe they thought the show was over and not going to have a cc?
Regardless,,,that does make it more rude.

Gavin said on his Facebook that there's supposed to be a piece on the show on CBS Sunday Morning today.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

The show is on now....looks like the Hair-piece will be in the second half closer to the end. It is the full interivew with Katie Couric.

No, it was obvious that there was a curtain call.

Anyone who was there last night, how great was Will's introduction? I thought it was amazing! I love when Kacie Sheik yelled "It's never ending!"

lmao yea the intro last night was hilarious. when i talked to him last night at the stage door he said the intro was really long and he was just trying to get into donna. it was hilaroius! he's really good with the ad-libing. you really didn't like saycon chita? i thought she did great. of course sasha allen's voice is freaking incredible, but i thought saycon was still great especially in white girls. i wasn't expecting alot from her in aquarius so i liked what she had to give us.
