For some reason a link isn't showing up when I search amazon and then get to the page where the book is.
However, go to Amazon and search "Eric Grode" and actually two books will come up. They both have different names, but only one you can pre-order. I'm kind of confused now!!
Eric Grode is named in the article as the author.

So can someone please explain to me what's in the book? As far as anybody knows of course
Is it the story of Hair, how they made the production or something else? I want to know before I pre-order it.

Looks like there are. We'll be there Saturday and depending on how impulsive I feel, may get one!!!
Anyone know if Vanessa Ray will be back? According to Twitter Diana DeGarmo also went out of town. Oy. Figures.

So.. Is 2nd row center orchestra too close? Found some tickets with one on the aisle, but am wondering if it's too close to enjoy the show fully.
Thoughts?

No, that is not too close. There is no such thing as too close for this show I don't think.

If I am sitting in the balcony, could I still dance on stage? Would I just have to leave my seat and walk down a little bit earlier?

^^ You'll still be able to dance on stage. As soon as the tribe begins their bows, go down the steps by the be-in boxes. You'll come out right next to the stage.

Awesome! Thank you for the helpful tip :) I really appreciate it! Seeing it tomorrow night (Thursday, 10th) any understudies?

Nicole is on as Sheila today so possibly Nicole or Briana as of now. I know Jason has been out a lot lately too so maybe Jay or Paris in for Woof.

How about understudies for the weekend? On Twitter, Diana DeGarmo and Vanessa Ray tweeted about being out of town but this was at the beginning of the week I believe.
And speaking of getting up on the stage, when should you walk up there? I bought tickets today and decided to get some seats further back. We're in Row Q left orchestra on the aisle (center). I didn't know if there was some sort of mad rush to get up there. Bringing my kids so I don't want them to get trampled but at the same time I want to make sure we can all get up there.

Diana's benefit in Nashville is tonight so I'd imagine she is going to be back on Friday to start the weekend.

After the tribe takes their bows, a couple cast members will bring out railings and place them on the steps. Once this happens, you can go up on stage. When I sit in the orchestra, I usually head to the stage as soon as they bring the railings out. Just head up to the stage right away and you will make it up there. I've never seen/experienced a trampling or mad rush. The ushers and security do a great job of keeping everyone moving, safe, and civil. :)

Interesting, Ace Young just tweeted this:
Everyone come see HAIR while we're here...Last show Sunday June 27th.
Could he just be leaving the show or is this a closing notice?

For anyone interested in totes, when we went on Saturday there were still plenty.
I don't think people really understand what they are. They have a tote up on the concession stand, but nothing really explaining what it is unless you read the tag on the tote.
It was hard to choose; both stands took all of them out and let me flip through all of them. Some were solid, there were a few with the red and white print on them, others were purple. I got a mostly purple one with a little of the yellow part of the sun and a little blue.
The show was great and I wish that we could go back to see it again.
The only complaints that I have are that I wish that Kyle/Ace had stronger voices. Jeannie was hilarious; Dionne was amazing (can't remember how to spell their real names at the moment lol).
When I saw them on Regis and Kelly I thought Dionne sounded too powerful if there is such a thing. On stage though it was great. Black Boys/White Boys--amazing!
It was pretty packed which was great to see.
Other random quick thoughts--Ace was crying at the end; lights shining off of his tears. Really beautiful. And how they exited the theatre with the echo/fade effect at the end of the show was just gorgeous.
Such a shame to see it go. There's so much going on that you really should see it several times. If not to take more of it in, to see understudies.

Since I am sick of seeing Kyle as Claude and I do love this show, I kinda want to know where's the best place to see Ace naked? Look, I'm not gonna have much more time and every time I've gone that DIANA has blocked him from my seat despite being like second row. So hook me up please. :) Thanks. (And this is a very, very serious post).

Does anyone have or know where I could get a full-size version of this picture? I can find some slightly bigger ones, but I'm looking for like, desktop-image size.
A work of art is an invitation to love.
