Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was at every performance this week, no?

He also showed up on Saturday's matinee on 5/21. It was exciting and he performs a great solo on banjo!

I saw the show yesterday (5/22/2016) and Steve Martin was there playing the banjo during the Entr'acte. I had no expectations for the show going in and was pleasantly surprised. By the end, there were people openly sobbing. More people should take a chance and see this show before it's gone. Steve Martin is definitely doing all he can to keep this show going.

Watched the video. When I saw him he was wearing the "purple" suit, not just the sportcoat. It really looked good on him. When I spoke to him after the Tony luncheon, I let him know how much I loved the show. I also told him how much I liked the "purple" suit. That got a laugh out of him.

Here's a video of Steve Martin and Carmen Cusack discussing Bright Star on CBS. (Spoiler alert: he pretty much lays out the plot by describing the inspiration for the story. I know a lot of people think it's predictable but a lot don't so I just wanted to provide warning.). In it, he says he joins the band whenever he can, and if they do 8 shows a week he might be able to make 5 of them. So it sounds like this is going to be a fairly regular thing (at least for now).

I love that he is there so much, mind you I'm sure it's to bump up sales...but it's still great that he's so proud of it and promoting it as much as he can! I hope it has a lengthy run if nothing else for Carmen Cusack's beautiful performance!
