How is the view from the last row on the Mezzanine? Please post soon
Updated On: 3/13/08 at 06:54 AM
I sat there for 110 and had no problems. It's not a barn of a theatre.
I was about 5 rows in front of that for George and didn't miss anything at all. Would have liked to be a bit closer, but not terrible by any means.
Leg room is a little cramped up there, though. Get an aisle if you can (especially if you're over 5'9"). Otherwise you're sitting in the back seat of a two door sports car, straddling the seat in front of you.

As far as the view goes, those seats aren't bad at all. And for the price, you cannot go wrong.
However, the audio up there is worlds away from what it is down in the orch.
So, as long as you're willing to lose a bit of the audio (which is (imho) lacking in Sunday's orchestrations anyhow) then by all means, the seats are just fine. I've sat up there a ton.

I sat in the 2nd to last row of the mezz center, near the sound board.
They by far were the worst seats I have ever sat in anywhere. The sounds was not that great and there was absolutely no leg room. The view was a mile away. I would never sit there again at any price. And I only paid $10 for my seat.
Never again
Couldn't agree more ... I will never again sit upstairs at Studio 54 ... the seats are by far the most cramped and uncomfortable of any theatre on Broadway. Fine for a child, but any full-grown, average sized adult will be cramped. And if you get a larger person next to you, you'll feel like you're in a straightjacket.
I sat several rows down when I saw SUNDAY. The view was fine but the seats themselves were awful. Incredibly cramped with no legroom at all. I am not even that tall and I could barely fit comfortably. If you're 6' it'll be difficult.
I'm 5"1' and even I thought it was a bit cramped up there, but the view is good.
I think you'll be fine. Enjoy the show!
Has anyone sat in row EE (First row of Mid mezz after aisle)?
I'm going with 2 guys over 6 ft and only have 1 aisle seat. I was hoping there was a little more leg room in the first row. These were the best seats available.
jerseyfan2, I have sat there before. It was for The Ritz. I am not extremely tall, I am about 5'3' and I saw everything fine. It is a great view, but there is no leg room. The leg room in that theatre is pretty bad, but if someone really needs leg room, put them on the aisle seat and they will be fine.
I sat in the last row (NN 109) for Sunday in the Park and it was just fine. I'm short, so I didn't feel that cramped, and the sound and view was fine.
I'm trying to find out if that first row (EE) has more leg room than the ones behind it. I have 2 tall(6'3")guys and only one aisle seat. Thanks
Anyone 6'3" is going to be incredibly uncomfortable in the mezz, regardless of aisle seat or not. There simply is not enough leg room.

Thanks for the response everyone! Just a question, are there facility fee charges and processing charges when buying a the box office?
Uh most uncomfortable seating ever! When I saw The Ritz there, I was sitting sidways the whole time, and I was still cramped, if your tall, and enjoy feeling your legs after the show, I would suggest springing for orchestra seats. The two other times I sat in the Orchestra(110 and Apple Tree) I had no problems. Just beware!
Facility fee yes. Processing fee, not to my knowledge. Hence why I go to the box office whenever possible.
I agree, wouldn't row EE have more leg room as there is no row of seats in front of them (there has to be a space between the front mezzanine and the rear)?
I was in row LL of the mezz, the seat farthest to the left, and I didn't really feel there was an issue with legroom (or lackthereof). I'm 5'9...
I did, however, have a little trouble hearing some things. Some scenes sounded very quiet and distant - a problem I didn't have when I sat in Row B of the front mezz.

the two people in my party are actually under 5 1/2, so we should be fine. Thanks for the advice, and I'm pretty sure I'll be sitting in the last row come April 27th. Plus, by then the sound issues should have been smoothed out.
I agree with Blaxx...wouldn't row EE have more leg room? I hope so, because I already bought the tix and I already have the two tall guys
I've sat in the rear mezz at Studio 54 for plenty of productions, and have never had any issues (view, sound or leg room) I guess I'm just not that picky, and I'm 6'1 and still didnt have an issue with leg room, though my friend who is like 5'2 was bitching about it. The only time I've had leg room issues ever was in the orchestra at the Imperial.
